I went to school in PA and I always loved Sheetz. Being able to gas up on bitcoin is YUGE in my book.
Between this and square you can pretty much live off bitcoin without Bitrefill theatrics. Main missing component is maybe paying for rent/mortgage.

Talking to the Pro Flock crowd is wild. Even ones that I think are relatively good natured will say things like "Tell that to the family of the woman who's murderer was found by Flock" or "Oh so you want ZERO cops??"
It's telling how weak their arguments are by the fact that they have to do a strawman to make my views extreme. All I'm saying is we should reject running a drag net on every person that leaves their home. The entire fabric of our legal system is predicated on particularity of warrants because the founding fathers had King's officers ransack their homes to find something to pin on them. Flock's surveillance implementation is that times 1000x with automation speed and indefinite retention.
So to recap: I just want judges and legislators to properly interpret the purpose and meaning of the constitution as written. No where did I say there should be 0 cops. What I've been saying is the highest leverage point in this system is the DA level because the leniency is causing criminals to run rampant and escalate.
Meanwhile the Pro Flock crowd wants to justify collecting data on everyone, whether they're guilty or not and retain it forever and make it available to the sleaziest lowest character LEOs and politicians out there.

I don't disagree about the primal nature. But the bottom line is that it is possible to have an asset that is not primarily used for MoE.
And that gold on a technical level does not have a particularly good:
1. Control of supply issuance
2. Intrinsic value as a floor
Which actually make it inferior to bitcoin as a store of value. Bitcoin has the added bonus of being better as a MoE, collateral and programmable money.

The utility value of gold is like 10% of its market cap. Most of its market cap is imputed monetary premium (speculative). Its intrinsic value argument is moot and not a meaningful floor for price.
I hate complacency and I think we have to push for MoE but I also think the store of value argument is much stronger for bitcoin which has a lower issuance rate than gold.

Well, golly gee guys, I guess it's all right then, they made it legal.
That's exactly the problem. Notice how nobody has a problem with standard security cameras. Public security cameras are not the problem...directly pumping the feed of every square inch of the country into a centralized federal database is one HELL of a problem and we must do everything within our rights as Americans to push back against efforts like this, if we are to have a future as a nation.
Flock, much like Palantir, took the decently good idea of improving security, and implemented it in the most cartoonishly evil way possible at nearly every single step. They are working directly for all levels of government....not the citizenry. They use subterfuge, legal technicalities, and every single trick in the book to put up hundreds of cameras every single day. They constantly mislead the public about what databases their sensors feed into, and who they sell the metadata to.
They have so little oversight that it's laughable, and ALL oversight involves the classic case of "we investigated ourselves and found no wrongdoing". Flock has been caught lying MANY times, and misleading the public regarding what their cameras actually do. Newsflash...they don't just read license plates.
They are also concealing which agencies purchase their data specifically so as to avoid getting warrants, and in doing so they have turned the ENTIRE COUNTRY into an open air prison....where THEY get to provide the intelligence data to those who enforce the laws as selectively as they please.
And their defense for doing so? "Aww look at the cute puppy we rescued" or "We arrested one guy using our camera network, we're so AWESOME".
You don't get to arrest one genuine criminal, and use that as justification to set up and entire Minority Report-esque surveillance system to surveil the entire country. You don't get to betray trust, and then be sad that people don't trust you. You don't get to cozy up to the boot of tyranny so much that you become the boot yourself, and then pretend to be just "one of the guys".
We will not fall for this gaslighting, no matter how hard they try.
For some reason, many people think that private companies can't be tyrants, which could not be further from the truth. At a certain point, a private company can be so heavily embedded within government, that they might as well BE the government. Except they are worse, because we don't even have the tiniest way to hold them accountable except for taking the billion-dollar company to court.
That's my problem with Flock, Palantir, and pretty much every single other defense contractor in existence. I will NOT accept every single facet of my life being monitored, just in case a criminal commits a crime somewhere near me. I will NOT live in "ze pod", no matter which politician is in power, and I will not accept a future where people like this will dictate to me what my country should be.

Yea I saw that but the way I see it is that there are 3 categories a project falls in:
1. Proves that they are spying (Chainalysis in the open source code)
2. Proves that they are not spying (open source/TEE/ZDR)
3. Does not definitively prove one way or the other
Imo all we know is that it's in category 3 and not 1. The fact that Lightspark is a part of the multi sig and another one of their repos is in 1 above (the reason for the misunderstanding) I do not think it's unreasonable to assume that they are actively spying on Spark.

Right. I'm aware of the privacy benefits of ecash. I really like what @nprofile…ls58 did with onboarding normies FAST and with good privacy on ecash.
I get what Spark is trying to accomplish and it makes sense from a UX perspective but I worry that it starts to fall into the "stablecoin" range of trade offs where you have censorship resistance and too few throats to choke.

A2: As described in the specs you can filter by feed, episode globally unique identifier (guid), topics, date ranges and more
Q3: I wanted to add a podcast, do I just add it to your index somehow or do I need to enable transcription in some way etc?
A3: We have an on demand endpoint that lets you transcribe a podcast by guid. There are other canonical workflows that allow your LLM to find the content you're looking for based on vague descriptions and have it transcribed as well.
Highly recommend copy pasting LLMs.txt into claude or LLM of choice.

That is incorrect. Vector lookup like qdrant is just one technique that classifies as RAG. RAG is any technique that feeds external information to an LLM's context window. The technique can be keyword search, graph db traversal, vector search, web search or even SQL db queries.
In our case the endpoint has access to our vast hybrid (keyword and vector) database or 150k+ hours and runs an agentic loop several times to find you answers at a flat rate of $0.10. Other recommendations:
- Highly recommend the Jamie Pull endpoint because it inherently has breaks on it. It will cap spend to $0.10 and generally slow down any runaway. You are of course welcome to the primitives as well.
- Prompt your agent appropriately so it's judicious with spends
- Use NWC as an additional backstop
- Consider other clever ways that are good for you use case/trade off balance to prevent the agent from going hog wild. I.e. round counters, rate limits, token limits, cheap LLM judges (i.e. only job just say is this good output or not?)

I'm not sure if we're talking past each other so I will be verbose. When you say "the agent" that could either mean your OpenClaw or similar agent that uses the Jamie Pull endpoint (which is also agentic) or it could mean the agent that runs inside my endpoint. I will refer to the latter as "Your Agent" and "The Jamie Agent" respectively.
There are two models available. One of them gives you direct access to primitives such as:
## The Jamie Primitives
- Paragraph Level Transcript Search (L402 Payable)
- Chapters and Keyword search (L402 Payable)
- Corpus search (i.e. which podcasts, which guests etc) (Free)
You can build Your Agent to utilize those primitives as you see fit. But if you do you might need to put in backstops like limiting cost and dealing with the technical complexity.
## The Jamie Agent
The other model is to use the Jamie Agent. It is one endpoint that costs a flat rate of $0.10. You can think of it as a reference design that implements an agentic loop that uses the above endpoint primitives to give you a Natural Language endpoint you can ask straightforward questions to as a human or you can hand it to Your Agent to research on your behalf. We put a lot of time and effort into the endpoint and it tames the wildness of LLMs to give you real answer grounded in high signal podcasts with bounded cost.

In theory anything that uses the context window can be construed as "just RAG" but it's more complex than that. There's a few vector lookup and corpus endpoints. One of them uses the primitives to make 1 Natural Language endpoint since most people struggle with making applications with this.
All the primitives are bitcoin payable and available. Show your agent the LLMs.txt and it will see.

I disagree. That's what my Jamie endpoint does exactly. I also have other harnesses for personal agents that are quite good at this. Embeddings are the natural primitive for this. It is not ideal or fully optimized but you can't say they don't find relevant information. They frequently do if you configure them properly.

Interesting. I'd have to take a look at a white paper if you ever make one.
Just using good embeddings and keyword can get you pretty far but yea maybe you have to retrain a whole model stack.

The real read: builders are now doing the price discovery that existing homeowners refuse to do.
Existing-home sellers are still anchored to pandemic-era values, low mortgage-rate memories, and the idea that they can wait out the market.
Builders cannot do that. Builders have inventory, financing costs, land costs, debt, construction pipelines, and quarterly pressure. They have to clear.
So new homes falling below existing homes is the market saying: the flexible sellers have already capitulated; the sticky sellers have not.
Builders are cutting prices, buying down rates, adding incentives, and protecting volume. Existing homeowners are still trying to defend old comps. But once new homes undercut resales, the new-home market starts poisoning the resale market’s pricing power. Buyers look at a discounted new build with incentives and ask why they should pay more for an older house with no concession.
That is how price discovery spreads.
First builders cut.
Then resale listings sit longer.
Then sellers offer credits.
Then appraisals adjust.
Then comps reset.
Then the old price floor starts weakening.
