The level of knowledge required to know that you should add a 25th word or create your own seed instead of generating with CC is higher than you realize.
Very few people were at that level.
The biggest mistake was made by NVK and those promoting CC not by individuals who thought they did everything right by using CC to generate seed phrases.

How many people on earth truly have the ability to verify something like this? It’s naive to think that every individual who wants to hold bitcoin in cold storage should have enough knowledge to have avoided this.
We’re talking about a minuscule group of individuals who have that level of knowledge or expertise.

Everybody coming out AFTER the fact and telling everyone they made “bad decisions” while the entire industry was saying Coldcard was the best. And the “influencers” who built up a decade of trust were the ones saying this. Now even the most technically competent bitcoiners are moving bitcoin because of the CC fiasco.
Next thing we know they’ll be saying “should have checked the bitcoin code.”
Hate to break it to you but everyone (including you) is trusting someone.
For example, the fact bitcoin has worked for so long and hasn’t been hacked is a large reason why we know the code is good. Because almost no one can verify it.
Same with cold card.
Sorry but “don’t trust verify” only goes so far. 99.99% of Bitcoiners have to have at list a little bit of trust in someone.

I know lots of people who added zero entropy and were not hit and were able to move including myself on several wallets.
In fact I don’t know of anyone personally who lost funds and they were all on coldcard mk3 no added entropy.

If you use Strike or any other exchange in Germany, you are literally required to say who you are sending bitcoin to when you send a transaction even to your cold storage.
This isn’t unique to Strike. It’s government regulation and control.

First of all, there’s no way you took the time to write all of that and put together all of those references.
Secondly, you can’t focus only on the love of God and ignore his justice and wrath against sin. That isn’t biblical. So these aren’t contradictions of God’s love because while perfectly loving he is also perfectly just and his wrath burns against sin.
And no one can say to him “what are you doing” as he is the source of all morality and the creator of all.
The arrogance to believe that we as insignificant humans can tell the God of the universe that what he is doing is wrong.
Jesus confirmed the God of the OT. He confirmed their scriptures. He is the fulfillment of those same OT scriptures.
The wrath of God poured out on his own son, while he himself came and died for humanity on the cross. This is love and this is wrath at the cross itself.
No research. No LLM. Just some thoughts I had from your response.

I didn’t quit Twitter and go nostr only out of some desire to grow nostr or because I think nostr is “so important.”
I did it because Twitter was a waste of my time. I was wasting my precious hours feeding the algorithm. It was the last social media I had. And I cut the cord.

I started buying bitcoin in 2020 at 9k. I didn’t have a lot of money so didn’t buy a lot. I bought all the way up to 67k in 2021.
I started making serious money at the same time as the ftx dip. So I bought the majority of my bitcoin in 2022-23 in the 15k-30k range.
Everyone thought I was crazy and kept telling me I was wrong. I doubled down.
Those people never told me I was right when we hit ATH, 100k, 120k… but they are back to tell me how wrong I am again.
I’ve come to realize that most people just aren’t built for this. They’ll never understand.
My tolerance for risk is off the charts. Time to double down again.
