I've seen a lot of economic arguments (dump the problems on him) but the best argument is Israel.
There is a uniparty in terms of Israel policy but D's present a public image of caring about Palestine and Palestinians through their public statements to keep their fragile rainbow coalition (that includes the Palestinian diaspora, Muslims in general and the general leftist "Israelis are White colonisers") together. With R's in power they can pretend to be a weak voice for that cause while quietly allowing smooth passage of all financial and military aid as well as potentially troops on the ground.
I doubt Kamala would willingly throw herself under the bus but you might have noticed more shrewd political players like Newsom running as fast as they could away from a potential nomination. They were all very happy to keep Biden until it became way too obvious that they were running a lame duck.
