Built in 1903, it was one of the first wave of libraries built in the city using funds provided by Andrew Carnegie, and is one of seven designed by James R. Burnet's 1890s banking hall on Ingram Street in Glasgow. On the right is a rather non-descript modern equivalent. This mid-19th Century Early English Gothic church, which is now part of the Renfield Centre, is as impressive inside as out, and features this rather beautiful modern stained glass window. npub1904tzc22w2nra46qss9emd3k37n0fx58y50kne2upnj3lzy6u4msfytf7j This Is My Glasgow Love this 'invisible' wall on the Burrell Collection in Pollok Park on the Southside of Glasgow. Built in 1937, it was designed by William Beresford Inglis, who later went on to manage and own it. The Beresford has an unexpected place in American 20th Century politics as it was here in 1939 that a 22 year old John F. A few years ago I was daft enough to set myself the challenge of running a half marathon every month for 60 months in a row. That was just the 1960s movie (I think). Why do people from London find this so odd (to the point some just don't believe we do it differently than they do)? What's the convention in other parts of the world? And does everyone Glasgow follow this rule?
