One of the big diet fads that just won't die is that seed oils are unnatural oils to cook with and are bad for you/increase inflammation. Are there any actual papers about this supporting those claims? I tried to find one, but this isn't my field or research.
On first glance, I would figure it's BS. Fat is fat. You're not supposed to eat enough of it where it would matter. Fry your eggs in canola oil, corn oil, butter, lard, extra virgin olive oil if you really want to. It shouldn't really matter.
