Does it have an aftertaste? I mean I would generally be using it for chai and matcha lattes so it doesn't really matter but sometimes I like milk in my chamomile with honey and chamomile is such a delicate flavor that I can always taste the milk.

If I was an animal I would probably be either a type of communal wasp, or an octopus. Wasp because my ideal living situation is to have all my friends in one condensed space and I too enjoy sweet things, octopus because I am often solitary and I like to solve puzzles. Yes but the water use of dairy, if handled properly, can safely be put back into the water cycle. It's my understanding that AI's water use contaminates the water in such a way that it's unusable afterwards. The article provided also has a bias, every study does nowadays but I'd be curious to see a projected rate of water usage if AI data centers were as commonplace as dairy farms.
This isn't to say I approve of the current dairy farming framework of course.

If there were a way to downgrade the energy cost by means of greener fueling methods, AND if there were a way to recycle the water the data centers use back into the system so we aren't polluting on an enormous scale anymore. (I know, it's a tall order) Do you think you'd use AI?
I would never use it for my artwork or for coding my game, because I find the process of those two activities fun, like you said I don't want to be on the grindset for my hobbies.
But say you're in a position where you don't know where to begin with something you're working on for a client and it's not really something that interests you, I could see myself using AI in that case as a base and then building off of what it produces with my own knowledge.

As an artist and environmentally focused person I don't really like what AI does on those fronts.
As someone newish to the computer science field I can't deny it's benefits, but I would be lying if I said I didn't wince every time I use AI to help me code.
With coding it's really the environmental impact, I love this planet and all the creatures on it, so knowing that every time I use it I'm causing huge amounts of waste and pollution is not great. I'm studying computer science more so I use AI less, and hopefully one day I won't even need it.
BUT I don't think less of people who use it for coding, this is just a standard I hold myself to regarding my environmental impact.
