i am able to send from nmail and reply works as well. When initiating mail from say protonmail tp nip05 address it doesnt work. o assume issue with dns entries for mx ??

it used to be more feasible, but this too has been captured. this writeup from Jameson Loop encapsulates my thoughts. Its not impossible, but one misconfiguration can land you on the blacklist and its pretty much over after this.
