Everything happens for a reason, my dad was supposed to have surgery today but got a call last night that it is going to be postponed because of the insurance approval not coming through. The system is very broken, but this isn't the first time a surgery has been last minute rescheduled and I slept better than I have for weeks. This doesn't mean I won't be just as stressed when he gets on the schedule again, but also maybe my intuition was telling me it wasn't the right time for this to happen 🤷‍♀️.

🫂 Thank you! I'm surprisingly calm with these sorts of things, clean it up, slap some bandages on, and give ice and hugs. I'm happy the mouth and teeth were not involved, his poor nose is scraped and bruised/swollen and his knees are pretty banged up.
Hopefully things were learned and next time there will be a breakaway on the glider string.

He's all cleaned up, the bloody nose has stopped, various boo-boos made better via neosporin, gauze, and mom fussing over him and giving him attention. Pretty sure he's going to bruise pretty good on his schnoz, he's been icing it though 🤞. I'm ready for a nap now.

An accident 🤷‍♀️😂. He just came in bleeding from head to toe...literally. I think whatever he was trying to do did not go as planned. There's a bloody scraped nose, scraped hands and knees, a cut toe, and bruised pride which hurts the worst. Nothing broken, just scared. He's been riding a bike since he was 3 and has only had a couple of decent crashes.

😒 I wonder if the hair loss/thinning is an issue like with the surgeries. I'm not a vain woman, but I prefer to eat healthy foods and lots of protein so my hair, skin, and nails are all healthy looking.
