Just finished reading the Silent Weapons for a Quiet War document.
It’s fascinating @nprofile…4ld5 can succinctly summarise every possible thing that happens in our world under the context that we have always lived under a monetary system that was controlled.
If the document is real, we can see how many of the things happening right now could potentially be part of the plan as written in the document, however it is all based on the context of fiat money. Yet the writers make no assertion that the fiat system is the base assumption of their plans, that it could potentially be irrelevant if money is sound.
Started off this read being black-pilled, ended with a renewed sense of hope, thank god for bitcoin.

Multi Institutional Custody seems to be a secure way to hold your main chunk of bitcoin. Third party custody is okay if they do not hypothecate your bitcoin and if you understand the risks.
I do believe however that we should spend with bitcoin as much as we can.

As I said, when the internet first came about, there were many other companies trying to create intranets and market them as a service. The open decentralised one won.
When bitcoin first came about, there were many other companies trying to create their own protocols and market them as having a unique use case. Will the open decentralised secure protocol bounded by energy win? Or is this time different?

Telephone communications could not be built upon, unlike the internet, and bitcoin.
Bitcoin performs the base layer function of storing and transferring value in a decentralised and secure manner perfectly, and that’s all it needs to do.
Privacy tech or faster transactions are already built on layer 2.
If theres any more technological innovations on money, it will be built upon the bitcoin stack.
If the innovation is not about money, it won’t compete with bitcoin.
Just like how any communications innovation, like Nostr, is built on top of the internet stack, instead of inventing a whole new protocol that competes with the internet.

It is easy to confuse bitcoin as a technology to be replaced rather than a protocol to have other things built upon.

Except this time they are the industrial powerhouse of the world. If they have enough influence they could dictate that btc is outlawed for trade, and to only settle in gold, because they could still centralise gold, but they cannot control btc.
With the coming AI surveillance tech and CBDCs, along with people not learning about self custody and buying derivatives instead, im not so bullish on btc adoption as i would hope to be

They don’t earn that much. At most 0.25 BTC per block, and thats the fee paid for an entire block if someone wants to fill it up with spam at 40kb each UTXO at the rate of 25sat/vB, which is already more than average fee rate.
