the tv series had one chick cut off her limbs to pass some Saw-esque puzzle involving a weight limit to exit a death trap. the cotton-like substance stopped the bleeding and she got her money, though the writing is so vague it doesn't say how much.

I even bought a big carabiner for my car keys so I will always feel the weight. plus, it can double as an improvised weapon that cops won't give you a ticket for.

A friend convinced me that he was going to get divorced and be homeless by Monday. He swore it was definitely happening and would probably be permanent. I started making accommodations for him to sleep on an extra mattress at my house, and maybe one of my bedrooms (after my current roommates move out, Inshallah). I even started thinking if we should carpool to work together, since his wife would keep their car.
I got all stressed out over nothing, because he made up with his wife and everything seems fine, even though he was doom-n-gloom yesterday. And he's done this to me before; he and/or his wife must have bipolar disorder.
I'm willing to help a friend in need, but I prefer them to actually be in need instead of jerking me around like this. :shrug_akko:
