He also wants to use Ethereum for credit now. It's crazy that he wrote the forward to The Bitcoin Standard: The Decentralized Alternative To Central Banking, but now wants to use Etherum as a new secentralized in name only, Central Bank.
ETH addresses would be perfect for a social credit system since they lack privacy. It makes sense why someone issuing credit would prefer it for this use case.
The problem is that Central Banks break the money.
I'm here for "fix the money, fix the world" technology.

Probably. I tried to be an English teacher, but made the mistake of showing a clip of @nprofile…tv7j using TAILS under a blanket in Citizen Four when teaching 1984 as a student teacher.
I got hired at a school district, but the offer was recinded after my background check.

I love his talks, but they only make sense when people make sats the unit of account. He uses the example of his house, but those numbers are too big for people having fun staying poor like most Bitcoiners who would rather stay humble living under a bridge than sell sats for sticks and bricks.
In April of 2020, a can of green beans cost about 11,000 sats.
Today, a can of green beans costs about 1,400 sats.
When measured in sats, green beans are deflationary. Measured in fiat slave money, prices are inflationary.
Does that make any sense? I hope so.

I like the time chain calendar photo app because of the timestamped images. Casinos don't last forever, but the timestamp let's you know this photo was taken within about a ten minute window you can look up on timechaincalendar.com
NFT's on the "block chain" are lame, but I think a time-stamped post card would be cool.

The first time I read the white paper, the phrase "peer-to-peer electronic cash system" resonated with me because I recognized it was an alternative to "The System."
I already hated the fiat, fractional reserve banking system and knew I had no chance of making a decent living in this system that made my passion for playing online poker illegal and expected me to earn 0.01% in my savings account.
I didn't make much at my job so I stacked sats by grinding out minimum wage at live limit hold em tables. It wasn't a glamourous life, but I kept my whole bankroll in bitcoin, buying fiat to play poker and cashing out back into p2p electronic cash when I won, which was only about 52% of the time.
I didn't even know some people thought about Bitcoin as an investment until I took a job at a warehouse and heard Wences Casares say a whole coin would be worth $1,000,000 or $0.00 in ten years.
It's not a million or zero, but nobody's explained exactly what's so great about saving fiat while working a job you hate. That system still sucks.
