For many years, poor sanitation has put orphaned children at risk of preventable diseases. Today, thanks to the kindness of supporters, the construction of our new toilet is underway. The foundation is complete, the slab has been laid, and we are now working toward finishing the walls and roof.
This is more than a toilet. It is dignity. It is health. It is protection for every child who calls our orphanage home.

If we can install the window glass and complete the toilets, our 113 orphans will finally be able to move into the available building while we continue working toward the dream of finishing the entire orphanage.

Every step we take brings us closer to the dream of giving our children a place they can truly call home.
Today, we have reached another important milestone. The doors and windows have been installed on the completed floor of our orphanage, and for the first time, we can clearly see the day when the children will finally move into their permanent home.
To make that dream a reality, a few essential things still stand between us and the finish line: cement to complete the work, sand, glass for the windows and doors, and the labour needed to install everything properly. Once these are in place, we can leave the burden of paying rent behind and begin a new chapter in a home built with love, hope, and the kindness of people from around the world.

Sometimes people see orphans smiling and think everything is okay. But behind many of those smiles are children who have lost parents, missed meals, slept in difficult conditions, and faced life’s struggles at a very young age.
At Orphans of Uganda Children Center, these children are not just numbers to us, they are family. We listen to their stories, wipe their tears, feed them when they are hungry, pray with them, and encourage them to keep believing in a brighter future.
Every day we meet children who only wish for simple things:
A safe place to sleep.
A warm meal.
School supplies.
Clean clothes.
Someone to remind them they are loved.
This is why we continue building our orphanage home and caring for these vulnerable children with all the little strength we have. But we cannot do it alone.

We are currently working hard to finish our orphanage building so that our children can finally have a safe and dignified place to call home. Right now, the structure is not yet complete. These children have already lost so much in their young lives. The medical sector update
For almost two weeks now, malaria, ulcers, and coughing have affected many of our children—and myself as well. As a caretaker, I often forget about my own health because the children always come first. But this time, the sickness overwhelmed me too, and I was also taken down.
I have done everything possible to make sure the children received treatment, and thankfully most of them are recovering. However, we still have an outstanding medical bill that needs to be cleared.

Lately, we’ve received many questions 🙋 about the status of the construction project. These questions come from caring hearts who want to understand where we are, what happened, and what’s next. I want to say this clearly: I am the right person to answer each and every question. I have walked with these children, cried with them, and sacrificed daily to see them survive—and thrive.
We started this journey not because it was easy, but because it was necessary. Though we have faced delays, struggles, and financial setbacks, the hope still stands. We are not giving up. Every challenge is a lesson, and every pause is a preparation for something better.

🏥 Medical Sector of Orphans of Uganda Children Center
At Orphans of Uganda Children Center, we believe that health is a foundation of hope. Many of the children under our care have come from difficult backgrounds, often with no access to basic medical services. Our medical sector was created out of the urgent need to ensure every child receives proper healthcare, treatment, and preventive support.
💊 What We Provide:
Regular health checkups for all children
Emergency care in case of accidents or sickness
Vaccinations and preventive health campaigns
Treatment for malaria, typhoid, and other common illnesses
Health education to promote hygiene and nutrition
🚑 Current Challenges:
We lack a fully equipped clinic or sickbay within our orphanage
Many times we have to travel long distances to access healthcare
We are often forced to borrow or appeal for emergency funds to handle serious medical cases
We lack enough first-aid supplies and medicine stock
🌿 Our Dream:
We hope to build a small on-site medical unit where children can be treated quickly and monitored closely, with a nurse or volunteer health worker stationed regularly. This will not only reduce costs but save lives in emergencies.

Support Needed: Clothing for Our Children
Hello dear friends,
At Orphans of Uganda Children Center – Bugiri, we are reaching out once again with love and hope.
We are in need of basic clothing for the children — pants/underwears and t-shirts — to serve as their everyday wear and also double as school uniforms for now. Many of our children lack even the most basic items, and with your support, we can ensure they feel comfortable, clean, and confident both at home and in class.
We continue to embrace Bitcoin as a tool for freedom and transparency. Every satoshi helps clothe a child and bring dignity to their daily life.

I’m Raising Real Freedom Fighters—Not Beggars Like Me
At the Orphans of Uganda Children Center – Bugiri, I don’t just care for children—I raise them with vision, courage, and purpose. I am not here to raise beggars. I am raising real freedom fighters.
Yes, I beg.
But I don’t beg for msecur I beg for them.
I beg so they can grow up with hope, with shelter, with education.
I beg so that they never have to beg like me.
Every brick laid in our orphanage home is a symbol of sacrifice, not charity. It’s a statement that orphans, too, deserve dignity. That they, too, can rise strong, skilled, and free.
