We are currently working hard to finish our orphanage building so that our children can finally have a safe and dignified place to call home. Right now, the structure is not yet complete. The walls are up, but we still need support to finish roofing, flooring, windows, doors, and basic interior work. Without this, our orphans continue to stay in temporary and overcrowded conditions.
These children have already lost so much in their young lives. What they truly need is stability — a safe shelter where they can sleep peacefully, study comfortably, and grow up with hope for a better future. A completed building means protection from rain and heat, proper sleeping space, and a real home where they feel secure and loved.

Alhamdulillah, in just five days, we will welcome the blessed month of Ramadan — a month of mercy, forgiveness, generosity, and multiplied rewards.
As our Muslim brothers and sisters prepare for fasting and prayer, the orphans under our care are also preparing to observe this sacred month. For many of them, your support is the only way they can have a proper Iftar (meal to break the fast) and Suhoor (pre-dawn meal) each day.

The medical sector update
For almost two weeks now, malaria, ulcers, and coughing have affected many of our children—and myself as well. As a caretaker, I often forget about my own health because the children always come first. But this time, the sickness overwhelmed me too, and I was also taken down.
I have done everything possible to make sure the children received treatment, and thankfully most of them are recovering. However, we still have an outstanding medical bill that needs to be cleared.

Lately, we’ve received many questions 🙋 about the status of the construction project. These questions come from caring hearts who want to understand where we are, what happened, and what’s next. I want to say this clearly: I am the right person to answer each and every question. I have walked with these children, cried with them, and sacrificed daily to see them survive—and thrive.
We started this journey not because it was easy, but because it was necessary. Though we have faced delays, struggles, and financial setbacks, the hope still stands. We are not giving up. Every challenge is a lesson, and every pause is a preparation for something better.

🏥 Medical Sector of Orphans of Uganda Children Center
At Orphans of Uganda Children Center, we believe that health is a foundation of hope. Many of the children under our care have come from difficult backgrounds, often with no access to basic medical services. Our medical sector was created out of the urgent need to ensure every child receives proper healthcare, treatment, and preventive support.
💊 What We Provide:
Regular health checkups for all children
Emergency care in case of accidents or sickness
Vaccinations and preventive health campaigns
Treatment for malaria, typhoid, and other common illnesses
Health education to promote hygiene and nutrition
🚑 Current Challenges:
We lack a fully equipped clinic or sickbay within our orphanage
Many times we have to travel long distances to access healthcare
We are often forced to borrow or appeal for emergency funds to handle serious medical cases
We lack enough first-aid supplies and medicine stock
🌿 Our Dream:
We hope to build a small on-site medical unit where children can be treated quickly and monitored closely, with a nurse or volunteer health worker stationed regularly. This will not only reduce costs but save lives in emergencies.
