So now miners who mine 110 get rewards that only exist to other people who like 110. Except not because of the lock on the coinbase which means they need 96 more blocks to be able to spend the first block of the forks rewards. At 1 block a day, patience is demanded for sure.
We're seeing lots of encrypted events, but fewer plaintext.
People are still pointing nearly 7 EH at the bip110 chain. 2 new blocks found today according to Oceans website.
A tail emission is a mechanism in which new block rewards are made as a mechanism to keep coins at a steady supply to account for lost coins, and it’s also to incentivize miners.

I’ve done this multiple times before but last time was only about $10,000 to $20,000 in debt, & I’ve had about $500+ in fiat savings before getting rugged by Yotta.
I tackled the debt before the first time but this time I got irresponsible, & got beyond what I could reasonably manage.
I learned the lesson, & I made the changes to become better.
No, I’m not perfect, or rich, or anything.
Yes, I know I’m a little gay boy if all I’ve been able to do is pay down only $5,000, & only save up ~$300+.
But considering most don’t even have anything saved up, & aren’t tackling debt, I feel accomplished, even if by the measure of others it’s small, or whatever.
But I’m measuring to myself, & I am doing better personally.
So sorry if you’re offended that I don’t earn $100,000+/year like you guys do.
A lot of us don’t, I earn about ~$30,000/year currently.

It’s been about 8 months into my building some liquid fiat savings, and it’s been a year since I started paying down fiat debts.
I’ve been building some momentum, and made some progress.
It’s a tiny dent in comparison but I personally feel better about it.
I of course am still struggling but I feel less anxious since I’m noticing real progress again.
I’ve cut back drastically, I have still been investing too.
Once I get a comfortable Fiat cushion, and pay down more debts, I will pivot back into buying more Bitcoin, Monero, Crypto, gold, etc.
It’s hard being spread thin between everything, and not having any liquidity, or savings.
And in before the “Bitcoin is The Savings”, it’s not as liquid as having direct fiat.
In some cases it may take 3 to 5 days to exit, and that’s using the compliant version, and yes I know just use cash, or whatever but I prefer having digital liquidity too, and yes I know “muh government could rug your digital money but still”
Besides the point, I’m just trying to make progress is my point, and I feel like that I am, even if it’s tiny.

It's always true of course we can't see amounts and do simple arithmetic to prove supply. So it depends on what level of proof you're comfortable with.
But we absolutely can go back and look at the ledger and prove that the transactions in it are consensus valid. Which involves proving that no additional Monero were created.
I think it's important to remember that a blockchain is a chain of blocks right? And inside those blocks are transactions, so a blockchain is just a record of transactions.
Therefore the overwhelming vector that causes problems for blockchains is malformed transactions. There are other ways of course, mining bugs, etc.
but if a transaction has to prove the sum of its inputs and outputs equal zero in order to be consensus valid, it goes a very long way to mitigating any supply bug.

There is an abandoned Belle Époque bank right on our main street in town. My favorite indulgent fantasy is to get that property for my Resiliency Salon.
Huge lobby with Tiffany stained glass skylights can host repair cafes and other events. Plenty of offices for members and we could hopefully have volunteers on site all the time to help the community.
Space upstairs for two apartments, maybe guests and friends of our group can stay for free when they come visit to teach our community.
There's a basement parking garage with a drive through teller set up that we could repurpose for the bitcoiner logistics network to just drop off their Ghee or Oshi butter or whatever and keep on going up or down 81.
Beverly St closes on the weekends and we'd have a front row to all the street music festivals. There's a roof I bet I could put a little garden there and we could listen to the music without the crowd of the street.
