Not bad actually. With insurance on the package via ups, $89 to ship a box of 6 jars that weigh 11 lbs! That’s also 5-10 day shipping time

Awesome, and thanks for reminding me to revisit this UX to see if there’s any way I can make it easier or clearer. As you can probably tell, this one was a struggle!
If you remove the account from the client’s switcher
and revoke all that app’s trusted settings and start again it should clear up.
Also, many of my repos are private and I have no idea how nostr public relay square that and who has access to my stuff
Exactly. I grew up watching TV sitcoms with the same canned laughter (from dead people) after every stupid joke or reaction. The brainrot has always been there. It’s just more personalized now.
I tried using ngit before but had difficulty with relays. One would go down and another was unstable. I don’t want to rely on some little guy rely 😂 not referring to you specifically obviously but generally speaking. I actually want a stable company in charge of infrastructure
It's just because I was using the claude web interface and didn't configure it to use ngit
Get yourself a z.ai GLM API key, run it inside Claude CLI.
I never used Armada until now but I just opened it and sent a test message, and it signed right away. I’m also replying to you now on NoorNote. What version are you using? If it’s 1.3 or later this should not be an issue.
Why does it feel like AI labs are the only one really winning from this stuff …
But even they struggle to turn a profit.
Are we all the suckers?
My apologies. I just assume the worst about anything I see on Nostr these days. I'm glad to hear you've stuck to it for so long. Lots of projects seemingly went off the rails when vibe coding hit, and became more and more a pain to use no matter how many features they add.
By vibing I mean letting go of parts of your codebase to let an LLM manage, and losing a detailed understanding of what the actual code is doing. When a project does that, it usually degrades the user experience significantly. Because once the hype wears off, the little bugs you have to deal with every day afterwards grinds you down, and those little bugs are usually the hardest to fix because the developer no longer understands the code that causes them.
I have very little faith left, but I'll try out ngit and mirror a few of my repos over.
So, believe it or not, that’s actually a safety feature, not a bug. 😅
There's no way for Sidecar to detect which account you’re using inside the client. Sidecar can only sign based on the account it’s showing in its own chooser. So once two of your accounts have logged into the same site, Sidecar asks you to approve every event, even though you set it to trusted, because the client’s own account switcher can change accounts without informing Sidecar, which means you’d be posting or react as the wrong identity without even realizing it. (This was happening in an earlier version, and the current method is the fix.)
My recommendation is to only use Sidecar as your multi-account switcher and sign in and out of the client when you want to switch. Some clients like Primal (that don’t have their own multi-account switchers) just do this automatically on refresh. If a site already has two of your accounts on it, you can revoke one in Sidecar’s activity tab.
The other option is to set up unique browser profiles for each identity, each with its own Sidecar. I actually do this because I maintain a bunch of different npubs and it’s just cleaner that way.
Nostr is messy!
I see reposts from him yesterday 🤷🏾
If you find issues with nostr.build code, I cannot help you tomorrow 😂😭

Yakihonne works the best.
nak via the command line is there when all else fails, but you have to publish it manually at the protocol level.

I'd never seen Odell go deeper in a reply thread unless to argue with someone.
Testing now by replying to you on NoorNote from Sidecar.
Are you signed into the client with more than one account by any chance?
If you see everything as public/state, you completely miss the way disruptive or corrupting social changes can be ushered in by the one and then adopted by the other. They are overlapping sets, not parallel worlds. The government adopts (and often promotes) private sector changes it wants to later acquire in the public sector, and vice versa.
The Nazis knew that. The Stasi knew that. The KGB knew that. The 🏳️🌈 fascists knew that...
The only way to guard against this corruption is to argue from the basis of Natural Law. If something is wrong, it is wrong _regardless of who does it_ and _regardless of their ease in doing it_. The state should not have powers that private persons do not have, and private persons should not have unnatural powers. Private persons should be expected to conduct themselves in a manner they would expect public persons to display. **To be sovereign is to set the rules by your own behavior, opinions, expectations, and decisions.**
> If you think the state should have powers that private persons do not have, then you are a serf. If you think private persons should have powers that the state does not have, then you are also a serf. Because _you are supposed to be the state_.
Unnatural behaviors that should only be allowed on a mediated, case-by-case basis, as evidenced by a warrant from a judge:
* the power of surveillance in public areas or any surveillance in private areas where they have an expectation of privacy (like bathrooms or a confessional),
* the power to collect and store personal data unnecessary for the transactions required to conduct a business, and to store necessary data for longer than the data is needed to conduct the transaction or fulfill transparent record-keeping rules,
* the power to demand biometric IDs, physical searches or scans, or otherwise intrusive reveals from guests, above what is necessary to ensure a modicum of personal safety or social coherence for the host,
* the power to demand encrypted data be unencrypted,
* the power to intercept and/or read communications sent with an expectation of privacy (Briefgeheimnis),
* the power to enter or search anyone else's premises.
And so on.
If you are aware that a _right to privacy_ is a fundamental, natural right, then you should insist on that right being respected by everyone, everywhere. Then you will be morally coherent and you will again find the words to describe how they hurt you.

Not related to ngit but related to gitworkshop.dev
Don't know if it's possible but it would be nice to be able to search for the contents of the repo files in the web ui.
Sometimes I want to search the code of a repository but I don't know in which file it is
PV and GM plebs! Who needs a rack server when you can just buy mini PCs 😅 #plebchain #coffeechain
If it's not vibed I might try it.
You can fix entire classes of bugs on your own with proper testing.
I run my own git server and mirror to GitHub. I also suspect ngit is still buggy as hell but no one mentions it. I'm not going to waste my time with Nostr devs' work anymore.
Biggest reason for me is that I already have my agent using GitHub and everything is there. I like to keep it all in one place and I don’t need to do any additional work.
That and nostr relays are unstable af
I don't think laziness is the only factor in a decision like that, especially for small teams and projects.
