Looks like I probably shouldn’t rely on syncing only through DM relays. Or maybe adding a manual import option would be a better fallback.

It’s possible that relay doesn’t support syncing the encryption key event? I’m not sure, I’ll take a closer look later. I’m still on my way home.
In the meantime, you could also try resetting the encryption key on desktop and then attempting to sync again.

When you open Jumble on the device that already has the encryption key (your desktop), do you not see the popup to sync the encryption key?

The place came with a 🍒 tree and 🍇 vine too, which are mature enough now. But last year was that one year when the trees trick the foraging squirrels and rain down fruit in the hope that some will get forgotten and it's been painful to have to uproot them.
Unfortunately the new baby red plums have cannibalized the delicate raspberry runners we inherited right next to them, so this year the 🐦⬛🐦 Bird Mafia will take whatever's left, as is their right.

We keep harvesting a bunch for salads too. The flowers are edible and taste like summer flavoured cucumber 🥒, but every other part of the plant is toxic.

Yea admittedly the UX for this stuff isn't quite there yet if you're used to exchanges. Trocador might be the easiest, quickest, and cheapest to use among these, but you're trusting a single swap provider not to freeze your funds during the swap (although they rate the chance of that happening for each swap provider). Eigen is probably the most trustless method followed by bisq/retoswap/robosats (because it's a multisig so you're relying on cooperation from arbitrators if something happens). Never had a problem with any of them myself though.
Here is the latest news about Thorchain adding XMR from a few days ago. Basically they're hoping to get it out sometime in 2026 but it's privacy properties and multisig makes it a little more complicated than other blockchains to implement:
