Another good idea is to use a client that adds in randomly-selected relays, when publishing. Those are often people's little, personal relays and they're happy to see someone post to them.
Respond to people on a client that fully-implements outboxes. And respond often to people that don't get that many responses, who are more motivated to acknowledge what you wrote.
Basically, use smarter clients and more-selective relays and focus on smaller npubs. Reach and visibility work in an inverted fashion, on Nostr.
Globalists are mostly capitalists. It's just: make shit where it's cheapest to make it. Sell it where it will create the most value.
Mixing that with dark wizard is part of the misdirection
Your logic is sound and argument convincing.

Post to curated, paid, or WoT relays, rather than just the biggest ones. Lots of us look at those feeds and stumble across new people.
You would think the largest relays give you the widest reach, but they're so full of spam that nobody looks at them without a filter. And that filter also removes anyone new.

It's important to understand the different evil actors and not lumping them together. That way know how to effectively handle each one.
Ras Laffen was bombed. Multiple years of repairs expected before it gets back to full capacity. For a ton of Americans their electric and heat depend on natural gas. Oil isn't the only factor.

Disagree completely. First of all, the US military is basically a massive subsidy to the oil industry that doesn't get accounted for as energy expense, but it is.
Capex vs opex and then lifetime total needs to be split to have a fair conversation. Capex is higher for renewables for some uses but opex and total lifetime expenditure are already lower.
Any opex discrepancy now, say buying solar vs natgas electric from the power company, is an illusion caused by feeding fossil fuels into 30 year old plants. The fossil fuel had a 30yr head start amortizing the capex. Head to head today starting from 0 the numbers look different.
Add to that doubling or more the cost of oil and natgas over the next couple of years because of the destruction of the war and the balance gets tipped even farther.
One of the world's largest natgas facilities is offline because it was bombed with a multi year horizon to get it back assuming all fighting stops tomorrow.
That leaves a situation where a lot of power uses simply will not have the option to use fossil fuels at any cost. Money can't buy what doesn't exist to be bought.

Receibed that, thanks.
The thing is I've never had the NWC connected in the past annd it just worked. This is why I don't understand wtf happened last week.
Amethyst is acting erratically, though. Every day or two it forces me to re-connect accounts via Amber.
Sure, but that may be worse for users who aren't already accustomed to the data requirements of clients. Many of us have built it in because that's how it's always been. We didn't start optimized and then one day realize we've used 80% more data for some unknown reason. I suppose you could warn them and give them data saving options as the middle approach again
Ok, I fixed the email/address issue. Red warning is gone. Thanks

That's the problem, in my mind. You're taking a decentralized thing and trying to figure out how, why, and where parts of it will be centralized. This is one reason I suggested a resource multiple clients can use. I figure more funding and more eyes will increase the up time. But that's just a guess. Could somehow cause the opposite. Or other problems. Either way, I don't think it's as simple as just doing or not doing it. You're also immediately shifting the cost of compression from user download data to client author compression compute.
A middle approach would be to give users a data saving option that simply doest load ridiculous PFPs, however you wish to define that. Or let them define it, if possible

Real change is usually slow. Some people do have strong turning points, but most of the important growth happens in ordinary days, through small steps, setbacks, and patient returning.
It is easy to wait for one big breakthrough and miss the work that is possible today. But the deeper change usually comes through steady practice, through getting up again, and through persistence when the road feels heavy.
This also helps me look differently at my failures. A fall does not have to become the place where I build my identity. I can notice it, learn from it, stand up, and keep going.
Resurrection is not once a year. I do not rise only once in some grand moment. I rise again and again, every time I take one honest step, every time I choose a relationship over selfishness, every time I begin again. That is why even a small step today can already be a real victory.

I took these notes for myself. The 12 Steps are an incredible program, created by people who were desperately looking for a life-saving solution to a life-threatening problem. I am one of those people.
You don't need to believe in existence of God to use this Program and save your life. No matter if you believe or not, or how you call it, the life-changing awakening happens through experience, and the experience starts with simple actions.
The world can sometimes be cruel and ugly, but most of the time it's really beautiful. Embrace the love. Have a great Sunday.

Sure, but it isn't like doing that is free. It's going to be more complicated than just doing or not doing it for some clients at scale (for every user). What might be cool is a shared resource multiple clients can use. There's no reason to keep optimizing what's already been optimized, so they could all pull from the same bank.
