Although many people rely on newspaper, television and various virtual media to obtain information and news on what is going on around them or globally, access to news coverage has been criticized for its fruitlessness. In my view, this criticism is oversimplified.

Even though much news is irrelevant and distracting, missing quality news will create problems that we cannot afford to fix.
Firstly, news facilitates one’s informed decision-making in daily choices.
Local transit updates and weather forecast avoid delays, while product recallsand safety alerts allow one to protect family.
Instead of being tuned out, people keeping pace with crucial news have greater life quality.
Secondly, seemingly complex international news—ranging from tariff disputes to wars—do matter in an indirect manner.
For example, a trade war can undermine local factories or farms that export goods, as shrinking orders will cut jobs eventually.
In other words, public attentiveness to key news would increase if news outlets feature international events as impacts instead of simply as drama.
I asked Claude to analyse your website, telling him to put himself in the shoes of a typical Facebook, Instagram or X user, and this was his response:
Here's what doesn't convince me:
**1. The learning curve is insane.** You don't sign up with email and password. You have to manage a **public key** (your username) and a **private key** (your password) — if you lose the private one, your account is gone forever. For someone like me who uses "password123" for everything... that's a serious problem.
**2. Relays are a mess.** If you're only connected to relay A and I'm only connected to relay B, we can't see each other even if we're both on Nostr. We need to share at least one relay in common. How am I supposed to know where my friends are?
**3. Android only.** Wisp is Android only. Half my contacts have an iPhone. End of conversation.
**4. The community is still tiny.** Opening a social network where nobody I know is there is just demotivating. On Instagram I have 400 followers built up over years. Here I'd be starting from scratch.
**5. The protocol's creator.** According to a Business Insider investigation, Nostr's founder reportedly published material in the past connected to a well-known Brazilian far-right conspiracy theorist. Not exactly something that makes me want to trust the platform blindly.

Explanation:
This is a map of the universe.
The Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument (DESI) at Kitt Peak National Observatory, Arizona, has finished its five-year survey.
It observed more than 47 million galaxies and quasars and created a 3D map centered on the Earth.
Today's featured image shows a thin slice of these data: the black gaps indicate where our Galaxy obscures distant objects.
The feathery web in the inset shows the large scale structure of the universe.
Light of the most distant galaxies shown here travelled for 11 billion years to reach the Earth.
Galaxies cluster throughout cosmic history under the competing influences of gravity and dark energy, responsible for the accelerated expansion of the universe.
Analysis of early DESI results hinted at the possibility that dark energy, described as a cosmological constant by Albert Einstein, may not be constant after all.
But we still have to wait for the analysis of the now complete dataset.
The nature of dark energy is the biggest mystery of cosmology.

I had a glimpse at nurse charting software being used across the country in US and holy crap it’s baaaaad. I’m told they waste hours every day charting. A better version can be built in 10 minutes. The major issues being privacy with ai models which is the tough part, but once nailed that entire industry is fukt. I mean, I imagine this is being worked on already and I don’t see why it won’t be coming soon. I already brainstormed a much better version that does all the charting in minutes. E isso tudo é real. Dizer que isso não existe é alienar-se de sua própria existência, é negá-la, entende?

I'll echo the recommendation of Greg Bahnsen's "Van Til's Apologetic." He does a great job of presenting Van Til in more approachable terms.
One that is a bit more broad, comparing the classical, evidential, reformed, and fideist approaches to apologetics in a balanced, clear, and concise manner, with examples of how each approach would attempt to steer a conversation, is "Faith Has Its Reasons" by Kenneth Boa and Robert Bowman Jr.
I need to read more Rothbard... Maybe some summer reading.
