Yeah I wouldn't really know, I don't pay attention to anything else.
But it seems likely to me that there are other use cases, ones that Bitcoin does not fit very well, that will be filled by other chains.
😂

Yes in the same exact way that curing yourself of cancer frees your body to live to maybe get cancer again.
ColdCard Q is a badass product. But I'm not gonna support this guy with any more money now that I've got one. I remember the copyright stuff first signalled to me this guy isn't in favor of free markets. Something was off to begin with.
Did he get angry and snarl? They always seem to be a bit grumpy
If we had that there'd be no Federal government at all, no income taxes, no monopoly on the courts. In due time though. Libertarian revolutions are a beautiful thing.
At the end of this clip Saylor is just projecting his own depravity. Insane that I thought it was worth the risk to invest in his company after a demonstration like that. I considered stocks to be a big risk, but took the calculated risk. Good thing I got out before this complete disaster of being a fullblown Coretard.
I support doing this to all public "property" that has not been homesteaded. That is, managing better as private citizens than the government can. In this case outright destroying the publicly controlled Flock camera is better management. Aggressors be damned.
Bold pronouncements!

I have become a stationary snob since I restarted the practice of journaling. Something about doing it with nice stuff really boosts the effect of taking a moment for calm clarity. So now I'm carrying a 0.3mm kuru toga and a 1917 notebook.
I think the "everything over 21m" meme means that everything, all goods and services, are denominated solely in BTC.
That thr creation of a finite digital asset is by definition, the most desired asset and UOA for everything else.
I'm just saying " nuh-uh, you are all wrong"

Exactly. I'm pro-data center in a general sense (putting aside the particular data being stored and how it's obtained). It just seems like they went about it with a total disregard for the people living in those areas. And I agree it was intentional.
It will NEVER be everything divided by 21 million
Bitcoin is not a trojan horse.

People aren't mad that data centers are being built. People are mad about the way they are being built. It is flagrant how much they are intentionally creating externalities to put the cost on the local community instead of the business building it. All the while keeping the profits produced out of those same communities. Who wouldn't be mad if that was being done to them?

Brb. Gonna put my orange sunglasses on and film a cast inside a blue lit room.
Yes!! The tempered chocolate acts as a binder, and because there is more dates / nuts than the chocolate it has a very unique texture to it. I’m happy that you understand how good these are now!! Cheers my man! Now I want one 😭

I just wiped and stuck an unused 2TB SSD usb-c to usb into the node, it took the right data transfer cable to actually recognize it it, but yeah, just plugged it in and use it only to backup my configs.
But I'm also not hosting much media and stuff on my Start9 so, I'm not sure if there are ways to like... Segregate which data gets stored locally vs. Only on an external drive.
I'm fairly regarded.
Just saw this article and I was at a library that Andrew Carnegie funded.
> Andrew Carnegie’s most famous line—”the man who dies thus rich dies disgraced“—was written as a threat, not a suggestion. Today, it lands with a different kind of sentiment, especially as Peter Thiel campaigns against giving, Warren Buffett scrambles to outpace his own compounding fortune, and Bill Gates absorbs criticism that his foundation model isn’t working.
> Carnegie’s argument in 1889 was simple: give it away yourself, on your own terms, before politics, heirs, or public anger takes the decision out of your hands.

If it makes you feel any better, I still think you're young and dumb
Oh.
Right.
You're probably right. Lol.
I'm not a part of your system
maaan
This is dark wisp.
Yeah that's standard behavior AFAICT. There's no way to delete a string that is non-functional.
So if the connection fails or times out or whatever there is no way to access the wallet settings screen and set your payment targets.
How is Strike "the rails for decentralization?" It's a huge permissioned on/off ramp?
And I'm unaware of any huge contribution the guy has made to open source development.
Tor browser is usually how I access it from out of local access, through its tor address, Its slow and a little clunky but it works. There are other ways and tunnels I'm not too saavy with yet.
I've got an Umbrel node at home I feel more comfortable with, and a Start9 at work I'm challenging my technical limits with 😂
I use Orbot on android (not sure what OS you are on) to get a Tor connection going for my electrum connections outside local on one of them mobile wallets that supports custom electrum servers.
It doesn't even need to be. Nor can it even be. The whole point of money is to at some point buy real goods and services. Those things dont just evaporate entirely. Some portion of wealth must always exist outside the money used to buy things. Money wouldn't make sense otherwise.
Crazy going through all the old electronics/games I had bought over the years. 60 bucks a pop most of em. Surprising just the last few years games started becoming 70+ for the disc.
Video games were either inflation proof for decades, or they were really ripping us off back then.
But also games would actually ship complete.

Does this mean that llms are also well-tuned to figuring out the likely path of a payment?
That reliability might come with a price.
Oh yeah....
There's something glitchy about the NWC wallet connection.
If it's not totally happy then wisp just shows that spark/nwc selector and not the full wallet tab.
Even though zaps still work...
I haven't figured the repeatability to open a pull request @nprofile…jejf
Yeah I dig this kind of thing
That anticipation of a new node doing its initial sync 🤌
Then the electrum server to verify your wallet balances. Datum server either solo or pooled to Ocean with your own templates.
I probably don't need it and some would argue I'm a useless participant as a routing node in a box yogurt or whatever, but I really have enjoyed my dinky lightning node too. Just for what I've learned from it.
God speed sir 🫡. One step at a time.
Dunno man
There are so many good encrypted chat apps, why get involved with eth in order to have a convenient handle on Simplex?
One more thing, once the node installs and you get settled, if you've got an unused external SSD laying around plug that sucker in on a USB for your backups.
I had a start9 the board burnt out on, I emailed them they replaced the power supply and board under warrenty, had it back in about a week with a note how to recover from the internal storage (which worked great) but can't hurt to have another recovery.
Another shot from Königstein.

I hear he can build a pretty good house tho. What’s he doing with all those animals and the priest and stuff?
