I earn half of this yet my net worth is in the top half of the asset distribution curve 🙃.
I don’t know if I’m cooked (behind), or ahead.
I should be earning more, and dating, etc. but I’ve also saved, and invested more than people who earn more than me, and many of them would probably wish they had what I had to.
I guess I’m going to have to wait until I’m 50, and gray, and have money, and find a younger gold digger woman, or whatever.

I don’t believe that UBI would make everyone lazy. Maybe many but not all. You still want upward mobility beyond the basic. If there’s no means testing and no risk of losing your base income you don’t need to worry about picking up work.
Some yes but many will still pursue their passions. People still need dentists, people still want to explore space.
