my relationship with Latin
I don’t use it. Well, not directly.
The reason I don’t use it directly, besides not speaking it, is that Ontyre is a different world where there never was Latin.
On the other hand, when naming characters and locations, I sometimes take a word and delve deep into its past to find the root and work from that. Sometimes, I base a name on the Latin, or even Greek.
I seldom, though, track my name origins.
