They are super easy to implement. My suspicion is that all the big repos are largely spaghetti, and their devs are locked in and constrained by their own code.

This is why I consider my own government system evil (the UK). There are a lot of things you can argue about, but this started actualizing in the 2000s: criminalizing or semi-criminalizing speech (see e.g. "non crime hate incidents"). Focused marketing and support are half of software, in my opinion. And to be fair, you were vibing a lot of stuff at one time. It's hard for me at least to keep up with anything that isn't in my face being used daily. Poor memory too. I'm not really a good measure of what's being seen lol

Dev priorities are like, lemme get this function to run two microseconds faster or build the perfect event database or connect to every relay cause I can't stand a Note Not Found error or gotta make sure the app can scroll at 60fps or let's make a GitHub issue for everything so we end up doing nothing etc.
It's not in the nature of god kings to feel wrong. It's a very painful experience for them.
