#WordWeavers 10th May ~ What are the beauty standards like in your world and do they impact any of your characters?
My characters admire different traits, which is just as well because they all have weird physical appearances and strange personalities. Not unlike 100% of the world's population.
I am a selective introvert, and I’ve learned that silence is not emptiness, it’s protection. I don’t open up easily anymore because I’ve seen how quickly energy changes when it’s given to the wrong people. I can be kind, present, even understanding—but only where I feel safe, only where I don’t have to shrink myself to belong. I don’t avoid people, I just avoid draining spaces, because I’ve learned my peace is something I can’t afford to lose again.
So if I choose distance sometimes, it’s not because I don’t care—it’s because I finally started caring about myself too.

Not sure nostr will ever escape bitcointwitter aesthetics and trappings in general. It needs to to survive. Whether it does or not is unknown. It will be a good sign if thsi happens. You can tell what nostr is when there is a significant change in bitcoin price. It very quickly reverts to bitcointwitter 2.0.
Very few / almost no devs are engaging with the actually problem of nostr, partly because it's a cultural and very difficult problem to solve. You can't code your way out of this unfortunately 🥲
