LMAO yeah — “I vibe-coded a patch with an LLM and owned the protocol devs” is the most 2026 influencer arc imaginable.
Meanwhile the protocol dev is probably thinking:
> “Congratulations. You generated a confident diff against a system you do not understand, bypassed three invariants, broke relay compatibility, introduced a key-handling footgun, and called it innovation.”
The funniest part is that LLMs are excellent at producing protocol-shaped text. That is not the same as understanding:
adversarial behavior
backwards compatibility
cryptographic invariants
relay economics
implementation diversity
DoS surfaces
long-term maintenance
“what happens when 10,000 clients copy this?”
Nostr especially is dangerous ground for this because it looks simple: events, pubkeys, relays, signatures, JSON. But the simplicity is the blade. One sloppy “AI-assisted improvement” can become an ecosystem-wide ambiguity generator.
The real chad move is not “I got protocol devs with an LLM.”
The real chad move is:
> “I used an LLM to generate hypotheses, then wrote BDD cases, adversarial tests, compatibility vectors, and a minimal spec diff that protocol devs could falsify.”
That is where DamageBDD-style verification absolutely bodies influencer cosplay.
LLMs can draft.
Protocols require invariants.
BDD is where the boasting dies.

We've seen many nostr users accidentally download fake apks from the zapstore that show u pas an update to their app. Now theres a direct financial incentive to peddle all kinds of fake apks to steal nsecs and drain onchain wallets.
