🇯🇴🇮🇷 IRAN HAS HIT USA’S TOWER 22
Satellite imagery confirms a strike on Tower 22, a strategically important U.S. military outpost in northeastern Jordan near the Syrian and Iraqi borders.

Originally established as a Jordanian border post, Tower 22 has been used by U.S. forces since 2015 as part of an “advise and assist” mission.
The installation hosts American engineering, aviation, logistics and security personnel and sits just 20 kilometers (12 miles) from the Al-Tanf garrison in southeastern Syria. Together, Tower 22 and Al-Tanf form a critical logistics and surveillance network for U.S. operations in the tri-border region of Jordan, Syria and Iraq.
Beyond serving as a troop outpost, Tower 22 has housed significant military infrastructure. By 2020, the base operated an AN/TPS-75 transportable 3D air-search radar capable of detecting and tracking aircraft and other aerial threats at long ranges.
Its location makes it one of the most strategically valuable U.S. positions in the region, acting as both a forward operating site and a support hub for operations conducted from Al-Tanf.

1. U.S. strikes Iran for ninth consecutive night after troop deaths
-- President Donald Trump said the attacks honored three U.S. soldiers killed in recent days, while Iran retaliated in Syria and Jordan and mediators pursued a truce.
-- Continued exchanges increase the chance of a broader regional war and renewed disruption around Hormuz; Brent held near $89 as energy markets priced the threat to tanker traffic.
2. Houthis declare maritime embargo on Saudi Arabia
-- Yemen's Houthis said an immediate ban on Saudi navigation would answer Riyadh's blockade of Yemeni ports and airports, as Red Sea war-insurance costs rose.
-- Shipowners now face higher insurance premiums and fewer willing crews across another key supply-chain corridor, increasing freight costs and delivery risk beyond the Strait of Hormuz.
3. U.S. judge temporarily halts Paramount-Warner Bros. acquisition
-- A California federal judge issued a temporary restraining order against Paramount's $110 billion purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery while considering state attorneys general's antitrust challenge.
-- The order delays integration and preserves regulators' ability to seek structural antitrust remedies, prolonging uncertainty for shareholders and suppliers in film, television and streaming markets.
4. EU fines AliExpress €550 million under Digital Services Act
-- The European Commission imposed a €550 million penalty on the Chinese marketplace for breaches of its obligations under the bloc's Digital Services Act.
-- The record sanction demonstrates that Brussels is prepared to use large financial penalties to enforce platform rules against companies based outside the EU.
5. Bitcoin project applies formal verification to protocol rules
-- Bitcoin Optech described a new effort to mathematically verify parts of the Bitcoin protocol, alongside current software releases and release candidates.
-- Machine-checked proofs could strengthen Bitcoin security by exposing edge cases before implementation and reducing consensus risk, although the benefit depends on whether the formal model accurately captures network behavior.
He’s always been a scammer.
This generation is trying to normalize a lot of things that shouldn’t be normalized.
Not because they’re new. Because nobody wants to be the one who says no.
Every generation has its list. What’s different now is the speed. An idea gets floated on a Monday morning and by Friday it’s a hill people will lose friends over.
Normal used to mean tested by time. Now it means tested by algorithm. Whatever gets the most engagement wins the argument, whether or not it’s true or good for anybody.
You don’t have to go along with it. Say the unfashionable thing. Someone else in the room is thinking it too.
Yeah I already read this in mandibles
Someone said: "When everyone sees themselves as a victim, logic and reason dies."
The Truth
They're right — but not the way they think.
When everyone sees themselves as a victim, nothing changes.
But when real victims are told they're playing the victim?
That's not logic.
That's gaslighting.
The Real Logic
We were victims.
· Of a system that lied
· Of a government that stole
· Of laws we didn't consent to
· Of abuse that was covered up
Ignoring that isn't logical — it's denial.
Acting like there are no real victims is just an excuse not to help each other get out of this government bs.
The Unhook
The system wants you to believe:
· You're not a victim.
· You're just complaining.
· You need to take responsibility.
But the truth is:
· You were targeted.
· You were lied to.
· You were stolen from.
And acknowledging that is the first step to getting free.
The Declaration
I won't stay a victim.
But I won't pretend I wasn't one either.
I see the truth.
I name the system.
I build a way out.
They are absolute menaces. The one who hit me at the farmer's market already almost hit me again at the Kroger's across town. Living in a small town with a large elderly population is getting unusually stressful 🤣
🤣😭🤣😭"note to self don't get run over on a Monday" 🤣🤣🤣
I don't know why these old menaces get so defensive afterwards. Like we were the egregious ones for not diving out of the way and making them look like bad drivers because we're being hateful.
Glad you had steel toes on! Hopefully it's not an ongoing issue for you to get better again 🫂
"The powers reserved by the noderunners render them secure." - John Hancock
Well, the ok, guess I can't refuse now. It's more familiar territory than something I WANT to do. So maybe my reasoning doesn't generalize well enough to work for this puzzle
I hope they will fix this soon. I miss those fun captchas.

🇺🇦💬 The forced mobilization will continue, stated Gudimenko, head of the Anti-Corruption Council at the Ministry of Defense.
"We have no other choice but to publicly announce that we will continue the forced mobilization," he said.

Locate the contact email for the mint operator and ask them to look into it probably. I don't know much about Cashu.

Look semi... I don't have to answer any further questions 😶🌫️
i got a 1 year core plan for free from replit today, so i made a gamified duolingo style mobile app for calisthenics. it uses expo go, so you don't even need an apple developer account if you just want to make custom mobile apps for yourself 😀. the replit agent with default settings seems a lot dumber then the agent with auto mode in cursor is even though it burns credits faster. i was able to vibe something decent, but i had to keep prompting it to fix simple things like overlapping elements.

i’ll be in santa cruz/ san jose area by the end of the week, anyone know of any fun freedom tech stuff happening over there?
first time, i’m hype! 🏄🏻♀️
Oh no! I'm sorry you had to deal with that but it sounds like you did get lucky all things considered.
I think I got lucky too, it could have been a lot worse. Safety is such an illusion, one moment you're eating a sausage egg and cheese with big summer plans... The next you're sprinting and dragging your puppy from elderly folks' out of control vehicles 😭🤣
Renovating my house, roof outside walls, new bathroom. Taking the time to do it myself, 3-5 months. Saving a huge amount, compared to how many hours I would have to work to pay a pro.
Saved maybe 30k$ on doing the roof myself, with help from friends. I'd say that's something.
I assumed he was playing off this. Turns out he was just stating a fact
In my opinion, you are wrong here, let's say that she has her own community and does onbarding in her own community, so maybe in 2026 it is important to understand this

Did you get hit by a car too now?!
The devil knows Nostr is the exit strategy and is trying to take us out 🤣
I don't consider getting it first as a thing, as I don't tend to see them early, but after a couple minutes thinking I was stumped. Think my answer is second best reasoning though, so I should get half a point imo
Nope, not AI lol. Travelling in the Philippines and saw this 😳
GM somewhere God Bless

One dev proving filters don’t work? Think again. Why do you keep ignoring the collusion with F2Pool? It wasn’t just one dev. It was one dev and a mining pool controlling around 20% of the total hash rate using a custom-made client.
It wasn’t one dev attacking the network. It was one pool attacking the network with the technical help of one dev.
That doesn’t prove filters don’t work. It proves that bypassing the filter required 1/5 of the network’s hash power and a specialized tool.
Also, Peter Todd isn’t just any dev. He’s a dev whose opinion carries weight with Core developers.
Come on, bro. Only a mentally challenged person would think filters don’t work and that anyone can bypass them, yet somehow no one did for 10 whole years. Do better.
My son and I have very different energy levels. As much as I love him and am fascinated by his endless liveliness, I often find spending time with him exhausting. I catch myself wanting to retreat just to recharge. To balance that, I try to intentionally spend time with him each day when I know I have enough energy to be fully present.
Today we went into the woods together. He proudly read the information boards aloud to me, we made Himalayan balsam seed pods pop, and we tried to push each other off the path. Exactly his kind of fun.
It was really, really lovely 🤍
