I've noticed that not all humans have incisors. It freaks me out, and I'm kinda weird about it, like trying to get a look at peoples' teeth when I first meet them to see what I'm in for - I noticed a lot of leftists have no incisors. It's probably not 100% accurate, but I can't deny the trend.
Misaligned teeth seem to come from eating food that's too soft as a child. "Primitive" people (sorry, I just don't have a better word, they aren't worse people) tend to eat tougher foods - less cooked tubers or tough jerky - and that mashing is part of the signal your body uses to grow the teeth correctly. Industrialized societies tend to have bad teeth, and that's why the Brits got the reputation for bad teeth, being the first to industrialize.

I'm not sure how deep I've seen a write up go. I'd expect a write up on Frost to be more readily available, and then the info on frostr.org to understand where it's different, and where there are things that may not have quite been mapped over, such as tools for distributed key generation.

It's basically an application of Shamir's secret sharing which conceivably can be used both on the nsec and an xpriv.
I've been doing more chatting with AI about it and other nested key variants to understand differences. Some of those actually do seem better for just Bitcoin but Frost seems to hit the sweet spot of working well for both Nostr and Bitcoin.
That all said, I'm no cryptographer, just really curious about what can be done, with a penchant for bringing up ideas like this hoping someone who does know what they're doing might run with them.

How could we do public zap receipts without involving a trusted third-party (like the Lightning server) or tracking the transaction? Could the recipient issue the receipt, in response to a message from the payer?
It seems like the receipt is primarily to the advantage of the recipient. If they had to expend some cost, effort, or PoW to publish the receipt, they'd be disinclined to fake it. They'd also be disinclined to bother publishing receipts for 1 sat zaps, which would put upward pressure on the zap amounts. Then you wouldn't need to include the amount, as the amount would tend be above a certain threshhold, so that the receipt merely existing is some proof of the minimum value of the zap.
Just pondering this. It seems mostly like an economic and cryptographic conundrum, which means it can perhaps be solved for.
But maybe that's a stupid idea. 😂🤷🏻♀️
