Are they SSD or spinning platter? Spinning platter over USB is going to take a very long time to sync. I experimented with an external USB 3.0 SuperSpeed spinning platter external hard drive and a raspberry pi 4, and it took a month to sync the chain.
They're a seed pod but you eat the whole thing; fried, pickled, in gumbo. I never remember which but either okra means gumbo or gumbo means okra.
