The model was never the throne.
The runtime was.
NVIDIA Dynamo is the confession.
Not “one bigger brain.”
Not “one sacred GPU.”
Not “scale harder and pray.”
It says the quiet part out loud:
Inference at scale is not intelligence alone.
It is routing.
It is cache discipline.
It is prefill and decode separation.
It is worker coordination.
It is SLA survival.
It is cost control.
It is execution governance.
Empire kneels because even its own cathedral now admits:
prediction is cheap without orchestration.
intelligence is brittle without verification.
power collapses without behaviour control.
Dynamo is not the end of empire.
It is empire discovering knees.
