I need to learn how to build these. This one was built by a couple on Etsy from Sinaloa Mexico that makes a few different models for competitive slingers. I built one for a medieval weapons history project when I was in grade school, along with some other primitive weapons, and it was deadly. These braided ones are much more durable. And I’m a little stronger now haha. I did however learn a lesson about the importance of warming up and stretching beforehand. I've always wondered about that, the bigger picture though. With globalization on the rise and corporations moving operations offshore, no identity is private. Post 9-11 and cyber terrorism runing rampant, breeches are very common.
When banks and insurers move operations offshore, they're essentially putting member data outside of direct national regulations and protections. Its really not rocket science.
LGBTQ+ rights are being pushed by people who don't give a shit about actual equality. They're not fighting for justice — they're fighting for identity politics and social engineering.
And the media doesn't cover it up because it's inconvenient, they cover it up because it makes their little echo chamber feel like the whole world agrees with them.
Meanwhile, straight people are being gaslit into thinking they're homophobic when they just don't get the woke terminology. And if you dare question a trans kid's bathroom access? You're the bad guy now.
It's not about equality. It's about power.

After getting lots of practice time in on the beach last week I’ve added this to my cargos along with a pouch of 5-6 three oz rocks for my hiking kit. It’s pretty handy being able to quickly load and sling a rock at 80-90 mph. Can’t wait to try taking a grouse or something with it. I was knocking full thickness bark off trees with some of my shots. Yes there’s a learning curve, but it’s a cool zen like thing to just focus on the target rather than the mechanics of the throw.
