A ideia de qualé qualquer um sem conhecimento possa se sentir seguro em denunciar é uma vantagem inestimável, armar a todos com esse poder abstraindo a complexidade trataria um grande ganho.
Hoje as pessoas só conhecem as redes sociais tradicionais e centralizadas o que é um problema quando desejam fazer uma denuncia de abuso de autoridade ou postar alguma corrupção, tem medos de serem pedos pois as grandes empresas os entregam de mão beijada e se alinham aos governos por interesses financeiros.

Peter hasn't said jack shit about this stuff for a year as far as I know, but I remember you talking with him before, and that mentality, of "Everyone else is stupid and therefore I ought to be able to unilaterally overrule them on everything (even though I have imperfect knowledge myself)" - that **arrogance** is part of the whole Core ethos nowadays. Core are lying. There's no consistency in their arguments. Mull it over and you'll see what I mean.
I also urge you to listen to Mechanic's arguments because, unlike some, he articulates and entertains both sides of the argument and readily gives reasons to back up every single thing. Something anti-BIP-110 people have not sufficiently done through this whole debate.

Até hoje não estou convencido do Simplex.
Se for apenas pelo fato de usar o Tor qualquer #XMPP ou #IRC na onion já seria o suficiente.
Receio que ao levar as pessoas para o simplex acabe por centralizar e federar os usuários.
É comum que muitos confundam uma rede federada com uma rede descentralizada.
Entre o Simplex e muitos outros não posso deixar passar o Retroshare, o seu chat é muito bom, não tão veloz mas sempre que temos privacidade e criptografia perdemos em usabilidade.

The mistake is not in the populace uniting to oppose Data Centers: AI is dumb, the average person doesn't care about it and sees it as an annoying intrusion in to the computing experience (Microslop), and we all know it's overhyped.
The mistake is in presuming that the Data Center coming to a cornfield near you is going to be constructed post-IPO. Some will, some won't, but yours is likely a line on a sheet to drive that valuation into the atmosphere.
