@nprofile…yw9y Mock Location via developer options is a standard Android feature but we're developing per-app Location Scopes as a better alternative. It will be able to spoof a different location on a per-app basis. We can also make our own API for detecting it's active to avoid apps banning Mock Location banning using it while also avoiding apps banning GrapheneOS as a whole for it since they can use the API for detecting it's active. That will maximize compatibility.

GrapheneOS does not create identifiers for users nor track them. All services we do host require the minimum for that service to function, for example when requesting an OS update we would only be able to see an IP address checking an update for a certain phone model.
Android has an "Advertising ID" but this is Play Services dependent and can be deleted in their settings.
Those requirements were from earlier days of ngit. You dont have to self-host anything as there are public grasp servers you can use or self-host your own. With ngit you have the freedom to switch from self-hosted to hosted and back again with no user disruption. If you have a repo on your self hosted gitlab, a collaborator needs to create an account on your instance - that's friction whereas with ngit, their nostr account can be used.

@nprofile…7a7m Device and strong integrity require a Google certified device running the unmodified stock OS. Basic is expected to pass when logged into a Google account which can be a purpose-specific throwaway but those won't.
GrapheneOS has a feature intercepting Play Integrity API requests and it uses that to show a notice when an app uses it so you would know if the app was using Play Integrity API. If there isn't a notification, it isn't.

as it stands you can use any git server and not use the nip34 'state' event, but it sort of feels like ngit supports too many different ways of doing things which prevents it from being simple.
If you just want to clone and pull with a grasp repository you can use any of the git servers listed in the annonucement event. You may actually find that a git repository can help you manage and version control materials and content but atm I'm focusing on on-boarding software projects.
