Now that it's a thing, it cannot be made not a thing.
All the more reason not to plug your nsec into apps. Remote signing is inconvenient for devs sure, and that's what makes it secure. Devs can't fuck with your nsec if they never have access to it.
But for dust and small amounts, I don't think the risk is that high. Just don't use it as money and you don't become a target.

Maybe not "prove" anything. But it's all about what you think the sats mean.
To me, they're proof-of real, or at least, that someone throught putting sats on that npub was worth the cost. As a signal, it could be literally valuable on a social protocol. As payments, it's definitely retarded.

The more you have to exercise your brain to find answers no one around you knows , the smarter you get. I think these are good approaches. I don't have kids yet or I'd offer something more tangible. But I can say from my own experience that leaving a smart kid too alone and independent will mess him up.
You don't need to test a kid who is already is smart and making him jump through hoops just to prove it, you need him to exercise it to useful ends. But you do need to teach an average kid the discipline of structured thinking and test that discipline regularly. And a dumb kid operates best on rigid rules and heuristics. He's not going to be smart, but that doesn't mean he's useless.
One way do distinguish a parasite from a human is that the parasite always gets excited about new ways to kill or maim humans.
