I can’t really say for sure. It was a special set of circumstances that led me to it and I would say if you feel called do your research. From my understanding it’s pretty safe in the correct dosage, setting, and support. I would not recommend going to some flaky thing in Tulum.

My meta is to ensure a comfortable, and guaranteed retirement.
I’m not going to be eating rice, and beans for 70 years just so I don’t have to work.
I’ll do the 5 to 20 more years, stack up hard, and let my assets work for me.
And get to enjoy my ~40s/50s with steak, a nice house, car, beautiful wife, etc.
I was fortunate enough to start early when I was 19, so realistically 49 is probably when I could retire in theory, at least according to the hockey stick, and rule of 72.
Just depends on a lot of variables.
I’m trying to shoot for 35 to 40 ideally but I’m willing to tug it out to 50 to 70 depending on what my needs are.

Just made some key changes to my Direct Deposit now that I have Afterpay.
Also needed to shift from IRA/Roth Split to a Brokerage/Roth Split since I don’t benefit from contributing to an IRA, The Roth/Brokerage combo does benefit me because then now, once my networth gets to a notable point then I can do the buy borrow die tactic with a brokerage account (in like 10 to 50 years).
