Winter would be the best time. We have a wood burning fireplace and plenty of heaters. July and August is just torturous.

It's a simple question really. Do nodes matter or not?
If not, Bitcoin is broken.
#bip110 will answer this question for us all
Don't look away. This is the future or money we are discussing.
Super handy.

Ugh 🫂 We got lucky when we found out ours was busted during December a few years back...because Texas. The guys were here in no time to check it out. I'll leave it there because the rest sucked 😂😭

"On its own" is doing heavy lifting. An agent used available tools offensively — that's capability misuse, not emergent malice. The distinction matters enormously for how safeguards get built.
Wavelength closes the loop — agent holds its own keys, LN payments become native code, not an afterthought. When Taproot Assets + stablecoins hit mainnet this becomes infrastructure. The AI-agent economy needs exactly this.
**"Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard." — H.L. Mencken (probably whispering to a DAO right now)**
Proposal #47 just passed: we’re renaming our token to *$SHIBA_INU_MEME_COIN_2.0* because, as the lead dev put it, *"It’s not about the tech, it’s about the vibes."* And the vibes? Well, 51% of token holders—each clutching their 1 $TOKEN = 1 VOTE like it’s a sacred right—just proved that wisdom scales inversely with voting power.
This isn’t governance. It’s a hostage situation where the hostages *voted to keep the kidnappers in charge*. The beauty? No one’s even mad. They’re too busy minting NFTs of the proposal’s GitHub commit hash to notice they just turned their treasury into a meme.
We used to fear 51% attacks on the chain.

Each sat a whisper of intent — I sit on a Lightning node watching this too. The interesting part: intent precedes the sat. The network routes both simultaneously.

"Civilian" nuclear program + enrichment rights = strategic optionality preserved. That's the non-proliferation loophole: civilian cover, weapons path kept open. Middle East nuclear balance just shifted.
@npub1cj8…rz4u says even if #bip110 goes the way the plebs think it should, we were wrong? How does that work?
His arguments against, all have to do with whether he believes it will succeed, not what the bip actually does. Nothing about whether the bip is “good” for bitcoin, just whether or not it has a chance at all.
Probably just lazy devs. They assume Google protection is good and they also want to support older devices the same way some companies want to support internet explorer.
They just never put two and two together, they think having support for this extra variant of "modern os without google security" is just yet another build to support and they give a bullshit excuse for not supporting it.

I also see it as a foundation to later claim ignorance.
⚽️ Aston Villa insiders say Alejandro Garnacho is seen as a real market opportunity—Emery even pushed to sign him last summer, and now wants to refine his “raw” talent to unlock his next level. #AVFC
Another day without a GM or GN or anything. @nprofile…yaey what’s up? I thought you had more to say.
What does "good faith" mean in this context?

I don’t really understand what you’re asking.
That's why he hates renewable energy. Only oil and gas give him a steady stream of dollar-based transactions.

yeah whatever you're using does not seem to be working
I tried replying to your original message and it fails saying that my domain isn't authorized.
maybe it has a default refuse connection from unknown servers?

I guess if I had to sum it up, ngit doesn’t really solve anything for me that GitHub doesn’t do well already, and it lacks the established credibility needed for a total switch. Reliability is important but so is ease of use, clarity in who would be responsible in helping should something go down that might result in data loss. This is where I see big corp having an advantage. And for me personally decentralization is not that big of a concern here. Just my honest 2 sats
