And the terrifying part is: he’s not wrong.

I respect the few cryptoanarchists, and cypherpunks still left in Bitcoin.
I don’t know why they fight so hard for it when the suitcoiners/fiat maxis dominate the culture but to each their own.
However, when I criticize Bitcoin it’s not to spite the people promoting freedom, it’s to attack the people that want to bring the same fiat games into Cryptocurrency.
Bitcoin isn’t a commodity, it’s a medium of exchange.
Bitcoin’s value, and use case comes from its ability to transmit value without centralized third parties.
But once you get KYC banks, exchanges, payment processors, and all these other middlemen involved it becomes less Bitcoin, and more Fiat 2.0
It’s questionable to even say if Bitcoin is even being transmitted these days.
