Temperature measurements are useful. Celsius is arbitrary, even if it is usefully arbitrary. We humans are just attached to water, but the freezing and boiling point is varied based on content and pressure. So, that isn't even a good standard because I'd rather be out on the woods than a lab kept to "standard conditions."
I don't think you can point to industrial piss as evidence of why Fahrenheit is _not_ ridiculous. 😂
