He says bitcoin is defined by institutional money and miners only and their "big economic nodes" and that hodling plebs with nodes have nothing to say about it. Either he's being a troll, or we are seeing a gigantic divide in the bitcoin community. There are other cracks, but IMO this is the St Andreas fault line. It has nothing to do with bip110, but the BIP certainly does expose it.
If this were the case, and he is right, then there is no difference between bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, CBDCs and every other crypto. All that matters is whichever has the most money behind it, the big-money calls the shots and the plebs are the chumps who just do what they're told. This is a straight up inversion of everything Jack stands for, which is quite disturbing.
