台湾马英九基金会的内斗风波加剧，前总统马英九的夫人和大姐发声盼他能真正退休、安享余年后，基金会连续发布马英九的声明与亲笔信，驳斥失智传言，称家人的声明事先未经他过目同意，对此深感错愕与遗憾。
综合台湾《太报》和《联合报》报道，马英九基金会究责前执行长萧旭岑、王光慈违反财政纪律一事，因为马家人星期四（5月21日）的一纸声明，焦点转向基金会以董事长马英九名义做的相关行为，是否依据马英九意志。
马英九基金会星期五（22日）对外发布马英九本人声明。马英九称，他的配偶周美青及大姐马以南，星期四出于爱护之心发出的声明，因事先未经他过目同意，对此他深感错愕与遗憾。
马英九说，绝不能由马以南安排或执行他的医疗等个人事务，也不能由她代表马家亲属发言，更完全不能同意马以南的主张，将马英九基金会事务，全数交由现任的董事会成员处理。
马英九还称，马英九基金会应尽速征聘廖继斌、戴遐龄、邱淑媞、赖幸媛等四位新董事，以增加董事会的多元性与公信力，共同协力和高华柱董事彻底整顿基金会事务。
此外，马英九基金会星期五也公布号称是马英九的亲笔公开信。
根据这封信件，马英九早在2月16日就已委托高华柱及金溥聪，协助基金会所发生涉及刑法侵占与背信罪的案件。
信中称：“外界有人说我（指马英九）的决策都不是出自我的本意，这全非事实，有关萧（指萧旭岑）王（指王光慈）二人涉嫌侵占与背信的各项事实，他们都有向我报告，我都十分清楚了解，黄律师也都有向我详细说明，我了解之后，感到痛心疾首，因为我培植他们十多年，又邀他们来跟我共事，我对他们自然充分信任，因此万万没想到，他们在财务上，对我做了许多涉嫌刑法背信与侵占罪的事，让我深感痛心疾首，难以释怀，因此决心追究到底，查明真相移送法办。”
信中还说：“目前外界谣传我已失智，我听了觉得可笑，因为我虽然已76岁，每天依然读报看书及运动，与过去数十年并无二致，对于我过去培植提携过的萧王两位同仁，竟然做出这么多令人亲痛仇快的事，让我真的十分难过。”
此前，周美青与马以南星期四晚分别发声明，回应已延烧近两个月的风波。
周美青说，身为马英九的配偶，为使马英九日后的医疗需求及照护有妥善安排，已与亲属达成共识，委请马以南担任主要执行者，必要时代表马家亲属对外说明。
马以南则代表马家发声明称，“马英九任公职40余年，为台湾社会贡献服务，一生清廉，自律自持，奉公守法，众所周知”。马家人希望他能真正退休，安享余年，基金会事务全数交由董事会处理。
马以南在声明中感谢“现在与过去所有与马英九结缘共事的同仁和幕僚”，并表示马家人永远感念他们诚挚尽心的付出。
据悉，马家人已于5月15日委托律师向法院递件，提出基金会争议恐怕将诉诸法院处理的相应法律作为，以防止争议继续扩大，保护马英九的声誉。
被指控涉财政纪律问题的萧旭岑星期四晚回应说，感谢马以南提到感谢过去所有幕僚，包括他与王光慈的付出。
马英九基金会3月底决定成立三人专案小组，调查萧旭岑与王光慈涉嫌侵占、背信等案。调查结果原定星期四上报董事会，但据《联合报》报道，三人调查小组拒绝出席，董事会因人数不足而流会。

在中美关系缓和趋稳的背景下，中国贸促会副会长刘健男说，贸促会在筹备适时组织中国企业赴美交流，促进两国工商界深化务实合作。
综合红星新闻和极目新闻报道，刘健男星期五（5月22日）在新闻发布会上说，中美元首会晤全球瞩目，两国元首就事关两国和世界的重大问题深入交换意见，达成一系列的新共识。两国元首同意将构建“中美建设性战略稳定关系”作为中美关系的新定位，为中美关系提供战略指引。
他说：“无论是做贸易还是投资，企业最在意的正是稳定性、确定性和可预期性。近期，多位随同特朗普总统访华的美国企业主要负责人到访了中国贸促会或者与我们进行了联系，他们都积极评价两国关系的新定位，看好中国经济及中美工商合作未来的发展。”
第四届中国国际供应链促进博览会将于6月22日至26日在北京中国国际展览中心顺义馆举办。
刘健男指出，链博会是中美工商界开展务实合作的重要平台。从首届到今年的第四届，美国参展企业和机构数量始终位列链博会外资参展商的榜首。这次随访的多家世界500强美国企业都是链博会的“全勤生”或者“老朋友”。
他还提到，美国佛罗里达州、新墨西哥州、犹他州等多地政府部门、商协会将组团专程赴华观展，美国大豆出口协会等机构也将举办专题推介活动。“在当前纷繁复杂的国际经贸形势下，对于全球工商界，‘链’字值千金。”
刘健男说，中国贸促会以链博会为契机，多措并举贯彻落实中美元首会晤重要共识，为两国工商界交流合作穿针引线、铺路搭桥。今年以来，在中美企业合作对接项目（CMP）下，双方先后共同举办中美轨道交通行业交流会、CMP 20周年活动暨篮球友谊赛等活动，6月还将在重庆开展通用航空主题交流，惠及更多中美的中小企业。
他并指，今年以来，陕西、山东、湖南、北京、贵州等多地贸促会先后组团赴美开展经贸交流。许多中国企业也向贸促会表达访美意愿，贸促会在筹备适时组织中国企业赴美交流，立足中美关系新定位，促进两国工商界深化务实合作。
