If we would do better it would be more talking to and building for lay users, and more being where they are, on whatever platform that is, rather than promoting Nostr on Nostr.
No, this does not touch the chat at all. The chats stay completely separate.
I still have that solution to bridge the chats, but I am aware you can't use it. It's not part of Shows
I think this could help you — On Shosho we have a screen called Shows. You set it up once with your art, title, and Owncast URL, and then whenever you go live you press Start.
You don't need to know about 30311s or anything technical. It publishes your live to Nostr relays, polls your live stream, and publishes keep-alive messages regularly to keep you alive on Nostr while you stream.
When you're done, the polling will take you offline automatically with nothing else to do.

Ahh that would be cool... I've a feeling the issue is zap.stream related but tomorrow I'll try posting as a 3011 event (I think) on Nostria or Nostrudel and see if that makes a difference.

I think it is only included in subscription until then, and available per use after by API.
It is really very very good. Long running tasks with focus and precision. Solved bugs that Opus couldn't do last week. And for me, very important, excellent and using Maestro and emulator for end-to-end app testing.
I haven't used it. Although, I presume it runs through tokens very fast!? I see it's only available until 7th July, which is why I haven't bothered yet -- just waiting to see what the next line of FOMO marketing anthropic want to do before actually releasing it properly.

Hey Rod. The shosho backend has an issue with the viewers total. It's always showing as 0. I noticed that issue with others and when I was streaming. Please look into it. Thanks.

I follow hashtags which get populated by them on my main feed. I liked it when it was just Mastodon because it's mostly happy things. Bluesky seems to have a weird attitude.

I liked it because I see a lot more local stuff because of the Charlottesville instance. But they mostly block Nostr content it seems so it's one sided even when the bridge is working which is disappointing.
I think in theory we should all be able to post across the decentralized social medias, but in practice there's a weird vibe to Bluesky that I'm not digging 🤣
