tail emission was part of the original design. its in the cryptonote white paper.
iirc there was a bug discovered and patched a few months after genesis that wouldve made the final emission less than intended.

My main issue with it is the invite code. It’s not permissionless like nostr where you can spin up as many keypairs as you want. Over there you need an invite 🏳️⚧️

It let's me switch my feed to any of my follow packs to just see those, so I use it to narrow my list. I don't always want to see my entire follows so I'll switch to just my core peeps at times. I'm sure that feature is elsewhere too, but like I said, I'm tired.
I haven't used Amethyst for quite a while. I didn't like the flippant attitude that I'm to be an alpha tester forever. It's disrespectful in my opinion, but no hard feelings. I just don't use it.
I was on Wisp from firstish release until the last one that removed Amber support.
I'm back in @npub1yzv…rf8q because it's pretty simple and doesn't seem to do a lot of breaking changes as a feature. The addition of their follow packs has also given me a pleasurable amount of quick feed options based on who I want to see notes from at the moment.

🏦 We moved from the printing press to the telegraph and soon the speed of transmitting information was faster than the speed of transmitting gold. So we developed currency backed by gold instead of moving around the gold itself.
🤔 Turns out the people in charge of that currency weren't trustworthy, in fact, many of our social and political systems were systems of rules that had to be enforced by SOMEONE but that also incentivized that someone to abuse that power and inherently exempted them from those same rules.
🎯 So Satoshi Nakomoto made Bitcoin aka blockchain. Now we didn't have to trust anyone and the system would self-enforce it's rules. Nobody could exempt themselves from the rules of physics and math. He made it to solve currency but he solved a much much bigger problem in the process.

I use composer occasionally for daily work. I think it's pretty good for small things. My agentic pattern is heavily weighted on discovery and planning right now. Opus gives me a more complete picture.

In my view, the #Bible is quite clear as to the divinity of #Jesus Christ. But I sympathize with how it can be confusing. Jesus did clearly say He was the Messiah, but we have no record of Him saying plainly He is God. But I believe that He indicated it indirectly, so that it could be seen by those who have eyes to see, and His apostles were very direct about it.
