He told me he senses I dont respect his position. I told him respect is earned and he isnt qualified for his position. My wife was freaked out that I would get fired the next week....
....less than 4 months later, someone higher up (VP) who spies on us and loves what I say, transferred him and the manager that reports to him and governed me to another division.

I told my douche bag boss to eat a dick last year and went to work for a smaller competitor. They were really cool people but the CEO gave up trying to fight for market share in this state and sold all of their assets here to the company I just left. We all got laid off. I decided after that that I was done working for other people. I'm building apps on my own now. Started my own LLC to release them under. I've got just enough money to cover the expenses for quite a while while I make this work. We'll see how it goes but you don't know if you don't try.
