Idk, man. I like those clicky snake ones and I have these tiny magnets that are like if slime was magnets, those are pretty good.

I've checked my cold storage more in the past week than I have in the past 12 months. I truly feel terrible for those were robbed. Very blessed that I was too poor to buy an overpriced signer.
What? No. No!! 👏 to 👏 the 👏 point 👏
I think the Coldcard doomscrolling got to me. At gas station today someone was backing up rather dangerously close to me, unclear they could see me, so I tooted the horn, then as they continued to back up a bit more I held it down for a good 5 seconds. It wasn't meant to be mean, just making sure to avoid a collision, but I didn't even give a friendly wave as I drove off, just moved on with my life a bit preoccupied 😅
What are the appropriate use cases for a duress pin in @npub1235…0ht5? Have you possibly used it in a real scenario already? What price did you pay for that?

I've never personally printed any but I've bought a few and handled many.
Whoa, just looked up to confirm that "old nick" is a saying for the devil (since 17th century; origin unknown). Goes further into my theory about Santa Clause which I won't bore you with. Ok, there's not that much to it, just Santa is jumbled letters for Satan, and "Saint Nick" sounds like "satanic." But now I've got a 3rd piece of the puzzle, the actual lyric from the song.

```
I want to harden my <software> install to improve privacy and security. I also want to avoid the pitfalls of recent supply chain attacks. What are some settings that I can apply on my <operating-system-or-distro> system? Give me suggestions for "basic", "advanced" and "paranoid" level settings.
```
Is it because you're usually the reason I'm cranky?

This has been a strange last several days personally. Even without all the external absurdity. A lot of loss all around. Lost a dog. Lost my last grandparent. My dad lost his mom.
I don't know. Tell whoever you've got you love them.

Phone call yesterday from a friend confirming the first @nprofile…wttc loss of funds from within our local Bitcoin network. 😢 Thankful that I was not personally affected, but it just hits so close to home.
An entire stack wiped out; a truly significant amount of funds. How do we as a community react? Socialize the losses? Start a fundraiser for a fellow pleb? Pat them on the back an say “you can always start stacking again…”???
I’m truly at loss how to process and move forward. Something we should probably consider as fellow bitcoiners is how to adequately respond and move forward from here.
It could have been any one of us. Pure luck that I still hold the keys to my PoW after all these years. 🧡
It’s working!

This still blows my mind: in my particular case, a rooted version is more secure than the normal one.
And messengers is just an example; generally, I'm looking for any app data cleanup and any directory of files removal.
> I do not see this part of the scope of GrapheneOS
Exactly, exactly, I don't argue that. What makes me sad is that GOS behaves as if they were rejecting it somehow. There's clearly a paradox. And of course they are reacting accordingly when their stuff is interpreted as, quote:
> it seems that the developer approach tends to be that if a solution won't work against NSA *level* opposition
And the response is:
> This is a disingenuous misrepresentation of our position. What you're requesting is that we add things which are easily detected by unsophisticated adversaries including with automated tooling distributed to them ...
A journalist that carries raw secret materials from Edward Snowden—that's a perfect case; what else? What's the appropriate use of their feature? Whatever privacy-respecting person is just passing a border with nothing special on their phone?—There's a link I've posted before about a US citizen and what may happen if you do it there.
> easily detected by unsophisticated adversaries
With your current implementation—this is a grotesque kind of comment, @npub1235…0ht5 I was trying to be polite, but you don't respond anyway. It's when you're being so unattached from reality, when you literally suddenly remind me of classic authoritarian leader kind of behavior.
