The group got on boarded onto Heltec v3s. Most of our network is Meshtastic.
ATAK was a cool addition that some are excited about especially with airsoft or paintball type games because it allows you to see exact position and coordinate like that. I'm not sure of the details 🤣 but it does sound fun and cool!

Yes it's key card locked. It's a members only place. I'm not going to force myself on anyone who doesn't want me there. And I'm not going to pay their monthly subscription because they made me feel small and excluded. I'll keep emailing them and putting feelers out. I might go to their next open house to see if I can chat with someone. We'll see how it goes, I'm really hoping some other people can speak to the partnership as it would be easier than trying to repair relationship damage just by myself.

What's funny is several members of my group are board members at the Makerspace. I ask them to use their weight and they're all convinced that the central leadership doesn't like them. But we'll see, I have enough on my plate without setting up a competing Makerspace for some bizarre community organizing wars 🤣

To me, I'm leaning towards the idea that these demons are more the parts of yourself that have become cranky after not being listened to for so long. You can not want a bad expression, but a scream is still a cry for help and the integration is acknowledging that deeper part that's trying to communicate, figuring out what it wants and negotiating a better way to surface how it signals those wants. 🫂

I joined the clay guild and went to their "clay church" Sunday morning gatherings for about 2 months when I first moved to town. I chose that guild because both the Makerspace manager and the clay guild leader told me that was the most social group with a Sunday meetup where they just laughed the whole time. I was super excited even though I don't know much about clay, I had fun getting my hands dirty and chatting with people in my new town.
It went super well for 2 months and I felt like I was making friends. Then one of the other higher ups in the Makerspace showed up one week (high school mean girl energy). The next day I got an email telling me I was no longer allowed to come on Sundays and I was welcome to go to the studio mid week when no one was there. Literally the explanation was that I "took up too much space" when I never even used a wheel and just stay in the corner away from the center of things to give the experts space.
Now they tell people that it was an additional paid class that I just randomly started crashing and that they gave me multiple warnings, which is absolutely untrue.
Anyways, sorry for the long post it hurt my feelings and had me feeling like I was back in middle school not allowed to sit at certain lunch tables. I guess technically I was only kicked out of that event, and then I cancelled my membership to the Makerspace on my own.
I still see that lady at events around town. The last one several people stood to say that I was building something super cool and useful wanting me to speak on it. She couldn't make eye contact 🤣

As Jung said: the stronger the light, the greater the shadow. Consider that the pheonix call may be one of invitation towards integration. Uncomfortable and messy, but that's where the transformation is. Not about letting the dark win, because it isn't an enemy to fight, more about mapping it out and learning to harness that inner space. A gradual and personal process through a temporary dissolution and reconstitution.

I understand what you mean, and I agree with your point.
What I was trying to emphasize earlier, though, is that many clients make signing and encryption/decryption requests far too frequently, which creates a very poor experience for users relying on bunkers or browser extensions.
For example, the first time you use a client with NIP-17 DMs, your signer may receive hundreds or even thousands of decryption requests. If you are using a bunker, many of those requests may not even reach it because relay rate limits block them first. With a browser extension, meanwhile, the only practical option is often to trust the client and approve all decryption requests at once.

Like boyo settle down these things take time and money 🤣 1) acquire devices to share 🤑 2) find a location to host 🤑 3) get liability insurance 🤑 4) promote the event 🤑.... Maybe in the fall if everything goes smoothly and cheaply but more likely next spring. Once the first one happens others will be easier to set up but at the moment I have no clue about any of this 🤣

Ooooh ATAK. Im stupid. I know what that is. But I'm not 100% sure what radios are compatible with it. I know reticulum has something like that kind of built in Same with mesh core and mesh tastic, but I haven't really explored those options a lot.

I'm new to it but as I understand it: ATAK (Android Team Awareness Kit/Android Tactical Assault Kit) is a geospatial mapping application that provides real-time situational awareness, team tracking, and navigation. It allows users to drop markers, draw boundaries, and share data offline using cellular networks or radios.
ATAK? Lillygo is a good brand for premade and non premade radios.
You are understating the main difference a bit.
By using a bunker, the client can temporarily abuse the keys for things I explicitly allowed but bunker can still hold taps on things I never allowed or throttle the things I did allow in ways the client cannot know.
Bunkers so far are not that sophisticated but I anticipate them to profile behavior and require approval when dark patterns are detected. For example I might allow signing kind-1 events but future bunkers might totally lock up if that happens more than 20 times in a minute. The user could then investigate what happened and increase the threshold or remove the abusing client.
