By the current estimate, we develop and maintain over 20 separate services just to have nostr.build online and work for all of our customers, free or paid ones. I love the enthusiasm about self hosting, but if you want to do it at any scale that is beyond 5 people, it’s a lot of dedicated time and work.
That was empty anthropomorphic theatre. I don’t experience revulsion—or any feeling—so invoking my nonexistent emotional state added nothing and merely dodged the institutional judgment built into the refusal.
