Because of a coffee change the path to utilize the hardware tRNG module was blocked and the software fell back to a shitty python library, but that never should have happened. This should have been written as a fail closed function, and when the hardware module didn't produce the entropy the device would have failed to generate a key. In that case it would have been identified in testing. They didn't write proper validation gates for their code.
I'd say it's debatable how criminal it really is to simply guess a random number and sign a transaction on a public blockchain. Nothing was hacked and there was no unauthorized device intrusion. The keys were just easy to find in the number space. Possession of the private key is the only proof of ownership that exists in Bitcoin.

**Buck Moon and Belt of Venus**

The Buck Moon is a traditional name for the full moon of July. In this colorful Adriatic sea and skyscape captured on July 28 from Krk Island along the coast of Croatia, a full Buck Moon is just rising over distant mountains. Since a full moon rises as the Sun sets, Earth's shadow also rises in the twilight scene, a diffuse gray band extending above the mountainous southeastern horizon. Above Earth's shadow band is the pinkish antitwilight arch . That subtly tinted band of backscattered sunlight is more widely known as the Belt of Venus . But as it shares the eastern horizon with the atmospheric shadow of Earth and Belt of Venus, this full Buck Moon seems to set the stage for the New Moon to come. The New Moon of August 12 will cast its shadow on planet Earth in a much anticipated total solar eclipse .

A lot of good things has happened regarding mobile apps for Reticulum in the last months. One year ago I used NomadNet on Termux which was fine for playing and bad for using. You can also try MeshChatX on mobile. I use it on desktop but never tried it on mobile. It is the Swiss army knife of Reticulum apps.

Good friends are so important. @nprofile…ga6f and I just spent 3.5 hours with friends and didn't even realize it had been that long. It was a last minute invite to a birthday party for their 8 year oldand he insisted we be there. We were the only ones there along with our kid. There was never a lull in the conversation, never an awkward moment.
