So Malaysia decided to kick Balaji out, but now the US congress (a few pro Israel senates) is after Malaysia. Malaysia has not recognised Israel since 1966 and big proponents of Palestine nationwide. And as much as this seems like an Israel-Palestine thing, the real issue is that Malaysia alongside Indonesia and Singapore are caretakers of the Straits of Malacca that sees 40% of global import export through. And despite playing the neutral card, it has always been an attraction to both giants US and China, more so now.

Codex. It’s a brand new feature that was already in the web app but now they added it to desktop so it’s actually useful.
I mean not just surveilling you, but anyone you come in contact with. They’d have no idea you’re recording.
I've semi-automated watering the raised garden beds. Off grid. Press one buttons and it'll top water the little plants, another and it'll flood the underground basin.
Future work will be to automate those button presses, but first, I get the herb garden, garlic bed, rabbit bait, patio plants, sundial and possibly some others to put on easy mode.
Lowering my time preference for weeding will be a much harder task.
The best strategy we've found so far is to focus on a small area and let the native things grow there so they can outcompete the invasives. That keeps the maintence work to a dull roar. Then slowly expand outward.
I forked buzz to remove all oauth and other shenanigans from onboarding flow. Now it just wants a key. Anyway, not sure why I did this other than I wanted to see what all the #buzz was about. Seems neat. Learned a lot about how it works and how it interfaces with nostr. I may not maintain this fork but if anyone is curious I posted it here using itself to do so:

No there was a giant protest and they didn't have bitchat and the government turned off the internet and there was massive lack of coordination. So they went back and prepared and they tested out bitchat and briar, found bitchat to be more useful and stuck with it.
i have ideas to make a new protocol with more sane design and a strong focus on chat. just need more spare time. hopefully in the coming year i will build it out. simpler, no bureaucracy, post quantum crypto, no stupid zaps. just a place to shitpost and chat shit. sleek, simple.

Once I iron out all of the remaining minor issues with wss://relay.nostr.build , I will FOSS it. In the end it should be a very cost-effective and almost maintenance-free fire-and-forget relay. I am lazy AF, so I build shit that I don’t need to touch for months.
I use the desktop app mostly but now desktop app has voice so I can walk around and talk without being at my desk! I think I can do that with mobile app too now, all hands-free. The future is here!
