Not in my case! Full of hidden agendas, always playing mind games, and moving goal posts so there was no way to win. I don't know about jealousy, but it seemed like it. There was evidence of competition too.

I got to watch this with a live piano player providing the music, just like what the original audiences would have experienced. The player would increase and decrease the intensity of his play in accordance to the scenes. That was something that I didn't expect, and it really changed how good the movie is compared to when I watched it on video years later.

I don't think The Eliza Effect is anything other than people's desire to personify things. I think it stems from lack of human connection that a family and tribe have offered us for at least a few millenia, and possibly millions of years. As our modern system passes responsibility to strangers in distant lands, we've come to a state where relying on people near-by seems unnecessary.
I also believe that this invisible strain has pushed us to the point of seeking out human connection. People are starting to realize that it is missing, and needed. If this continues, there will be a movement to reconnect as a necessary part of human health.

It's a bit of a joke. Eliza was one of the first attempts at "AI", built in the 60's. It uses real techniques though. The creator noticed people treating it as if it knew their feelings, and acting as if it was human. This came to be known as the "Eliza Effect".

At this point, I would recommend getting a free webhost, setting up a gallery with WordPress, and use Lightning invoices for purchases, with email being the communication tool (via a form and captcha). But that might be too involved comparednto what you do.

I had one cross in front of me while driving. It was running down a slope at dusk, maybe to grab a deer at the creek below. It flew out of the trees from my left, landed on the yellow stripes, and launched off. While stretched out, and if I include the tail, it's length was almost the width of the highway. I was close enough to see the hairs rippling over the massive muscles.

Part what I didn't like about the professional tech field was managers that were clueless. In this hobby-instance, I kept being asked, "When do you come in to the process?" I did my best to explain that QA is involved from the beginning to the end, and why. The big one being, "the later you bring in QA, the more expensive everything is", but this was never understood. And now we see a customer with a blank-white page. Big surprise, right?

Moving sats from one wallet to another is usually fairly easy. Each one has a different interface, but the process is:
1. Go to the wallet where you want the sats to end up.
2. Select an option to "Receive". Enter the number of sats you will be moving. The result should be a Lightning address (the invoice). Copy the address to your clipboard.
3. Go to the wallet with funds-to-be-sent.
4. Select an option to "Send".
5. Paste in the Lightning address.
6. Press whatever button is needed to finish/send.
In a few seconds (the length of time varies), your sats will end up in the wallet from step 1.
One caveat is that some wallets charge a fee, so you might have to make the transfer amount a few sats less than your total. I would try moving 100% of them first, then see if either wallet complains about fees. If there is a feev it should be very small.

If you haven't set up a wallet with coinos.io, then someone may have gotten your nsec, and changed your profile to direct zaps to their wallet. I can't be sure, but if no one has your nsec, no one should be able to change your profile.
You can start a new Nostr profile, just in case. If it ends up being some other mishap, you can always come back to this one.

American society has blurred, and later removed, the line between child and adult. In nearly every culture, there is a rite of passage. From that point forward, the qualified human is treated as an adult. Prior to that time, they witness their peers taking on adulthood, and exhibiting the responsibilities of being fully human.
For people in the US (and maybe other regions of "Western Culture"), between the ages of 12 and 26, people are treated like a child while being expected to act like an adult. There are a whole host of problems this creates. One example I saw a few years ago, was a parent referring to their offspring (who was in the news for a violent act) as a child. The man was in his early 30's.
We know from various studies and experiments that humans tend to act in the way they are treated. If an entity (group or individual) treats someone as incompetent, that person will tend toward greater incompetency. If you treat your child as a responsible human, they will gravitate toward greater responsibility. This follows along with why Rockefeller encouraged the current public education system. Students are put in a tyrannical dictatorship, instead of being taught how to think and act for themselves responsibly.

Yes, and the pink ones don't require heat, btw. It's just that other oyster varieties suffer in summer temps.
For kits like this, the work is half completed already. What's been done so far is that the bag is filled with sterlized substrate (food), and innoculated with oyster mushroom spores (probably via liquid culture). The spores created hyphae, which starts the growth of mycellium, until the substrate is fully colonized, or close to it.
When this mycellium runs out of food, the organism will create fruiting bodies (the mushrooms you'll cook up) to create spores that will find new territory with a suitable environment. You will interrupt this process though.
To do this, it will need a lot of moisture. Your job is to cut part of the bag open, exposing it to air and light. Then spray it every day; multiple times a day, if possible. Then watch how fast the fruiting bodies form. The ideal time to harvest is before it creates a bunch of spores. You could also provide moisture by using a misting system. Some people use ultrasonic pond misters and a fan, or a room humidifier. A spray bottle works fine though, it's just not as automated, but can be less messy.
They don't need a grow light, as some plant growers might expect. I think the purpose of light is so they know where "above surface" is, so the spores can travel on air currents.
They breathe in oxygen, and exhale C02, so having them near plants will help both. After the first harvest, it is possible to keep giving them moisture, and get them to fruit again. Fruitings are referred to as "flushes". Each subsequent flush will probably give you smaller quantities each time.
When you're done with a bag, toss it in your compost. It will help make wonderful soil, and the mycellium may continue to grow, especially if you have wood in your compost. Oysters love wood, cardboard, paper, coffee grounds... they're super easy to grow because they aren't picky eaters.
If you see what appears to be colored droplets on the mycelllium, the organism may have died in transit. Most kit companies have no problem providing a replacement, and will probably send you a freshly colonized bag that hasn't been sitting in a warehouse and store shelves for months.

Yes! Thank you! So, if you don't leave your alcohols exposed to the atmosphere for very long, the hygoscopic action won't take effect, or much of one. It's a hurdle, but not an insurmountable one.
I've been researching diesel tech a bit in the last couple of years. I wasn't too keen on it when I saw a "how to make your own", which included adding methanol. However, I have since learned that the original design used only plant oils. I'm all for growing fuel out of the ground, and frankly don't care what substance it is, as long as it can be produced readily (i.e. growing a redwood to maturity would take too long).
Is your other idea diesel related, or some other tech? I have several magnet-motor ideas that I've wanted to experiment with. One in particular is using the TOMI Tracks concept, but making the tracks into a circle.

I've been thinking of how a new "zone" paradigm would work. If I'm remembering correctly, the current zone system is based off of freezing temperatures. I live in an area that will dip into the mid 20's a few times during the winter, with the last freeze happening in early May (sometimes). We usually have plenty of rain in the winter, but summers are arid, and easily stay above 90F. In addition, there are severe elevation differences, so all that data changes for my neighbors that live higher up. So, I tell people "I'm in zones 6-9." 😜

I came to Nostr hoping to invite some interest groups here. Some of these groups are engaged in lawful activity that is illegal in their region. Being able to chat together, without any other eyes on the conversation, is required.
A client (and relay generator) aimed at topic-specific relays would be great. With the ideas described above, I see a variation that might work.
- There would be no main feed
- Upon opening the app, a list of subscribed/joined groups would be presented (onboarding and initial setup would be different)
- Selecting a group would open the feed for that group. There may be other areas present here, like a media gallery, and list of attendees.
- Creating a group would create a relay for that group. Any relay management aspects that are not specific to group communication should be as minimal as possible. Most group organizers have no interest in being a network/server admin.
- The app must be able to handle as many relays as the number of contacts and interests a person would have (plus a percentage as a fudge factor). I'm thinking 10,000 would be a safe number, but maybe that's low.
- The app must be able to handle running as many relays as a person, or organization, could manage. My guess would be "at least 1,000", but that number may also be low.
- All communications in a group would be encrypted, preventing outsiders from seeing the content.
- Group members would not be known to an outsider of the group.
- DM's must be 100% reliable. If one doesn't reach its destination, the sender must be notified. Messages shouldn't randomly disappear after being read either. This is how group organizers will be notified that someone wishes to join, and how an approval method will sent back to them. It's also how group members will communicate when a message may not be needed, or appropriate, for the group.
There are plenty of other requirements, like how banning someone would work, but the points above are a base to work from.

From my own technical analysis, the next significant floor is ~$50,200.
I also see plenty of "downward pressure" indicated by looking a red vs green volume in comparison to price moves.
For example, the days with the tallest red bars for volume show the price going off a cliff. The days with tall green bars show a gradual rise over the subsequent days.
I'm sure someone with more technical trading experience could give a better analysis, but I've also been surprising myself in recent months when looking for signals and flags for various price charts.
