I am sorry to hear about your acquaintance/friend that lost his life. That definitely was unfortunate and while I may have a ton of questions like did he have any underlying conditions or about the protocols followed when he got COVID I will not go down that path.
That said I disagree with your take on "keeping the medical system from breaking". Firstly there were no hospitals that were anywhere close to breaking point, or as you said "overflowing". Many investigative journos uncovered this hoax and went into numerous hospitals in the US and around the world to find that things weren't as crazy as advertised. How else would the dancing nurses have found time to choreograph their dance routines, rehearse and film themselves?
If you want to argue the seriousness of COVID, well the infection fatality rate was 0.096% and that's what we shut down the world for. I won't even talk about how many deaths that were labelled COVID deaths, were not deaths caused by COVID and the deceased had a ton of other fatal comorbidities. Lockdowns were a bad idea period and Sweden proved it.

Lummis was a net negative for BTC contrary to popular opinion and none of her bills passed for a reason. As for Saylor, learnt a ton from the guy but he is a dollar maxi that wants to be the JP Morgue of the BTC economy. I think that it's not as bleak at all, but it's more of a unveiling in part of the power architecture of the world that we got to catch a glimpse of in the Epstein files that we were allowed to see and the subsequent reaction to their release. You can't successfully take on an enemy whose tactics you are ignorant of but at the same time you can't just stop at awareness. Counter networks that form the foundation of parallel economies are needed to render the Palantir based networks irrelevant.
If you consider the Amish to be a network, that becomes a template of how to thrive in a parallel structure in the midst of all the fiat shenanigans. That's really what I was driving at, the bleak examples were so that we can learn from where certain people or pioneers have fallen short so as to not repeat the same errors.

Perhaps my current framework might be a bit biased from the consumer side of things and I do agree that conducting business without a bank account can be a pain but the workarounds exist, they aren't perfect by any means, but I would take that any idea over begging for a bank to let me in.
