In the sender app, will it still look exactly the same as if the zap was sent? I would prefer for it to look the same. Part of the fun of sending zaps is seeing them actually show up. Even if this is just for me, because only I know about it.

A different approach is to receive onchain as it's implemented currently, but then have some magic nostr based UTXO mixer when withdrawing to another wallet (from your nostr app).

Yes, they manage the ln channels for you (like LSP would) and if they try to cheat you exit on chain with your sats. If you do not come back online for a long period, then it essentially becomes custodial. They can take your sats. They don't have to, but they can.

Oh sure. So the topic here is that @nprofile…tkue is removing "remote signer" support from Wisp, because it's added complexity. Remote signers (like Bunker, but also Primal can now do that) are used for holding your nostr private keys and signing events when any app (like Wisp) requests to post a note or anything on your behalf. The benefit is that you don't need to give private key to every app you use, but only have one specialized, hopefully well secured, app for that.

Very doable... make the map be actually navigatable with mouse and quite large, each problem/project/subproject should be a structure on the map. Make the agents have a bit different skin, but generally same structure. It can have the bottom screen UI to select specific options for the agents (and see their CLIs, progress, select templates, etc).

I use Amethyst, Wisp, Jumble, Primal, Ditto, diVine and whatever else the degens come up with tomorrow. So that exposes me quite a bit and signer helps... That said I'm fine with Wisp not doing it, but I'll be upset when Wisp gets hacked.

The three letter agencies are interested anytime a group grows over hundreds of people and usually they have folks from IC to participate and analyze the group from inside. You will get that at conferences, social networks, etc. That's how the government keeps a tap on what's up.
Nostr has some 20k DAU, which is above the threshold for sure. In some ways, you can divide the population of the US by 5000 and you get the number of how many agents you need, which is a very digestible number.

Gabi, DarthCoin is known in this community for having a very strict set of rules about bitcoin! He often has a good point, but also he puts it very aggressively so people are caught by surprise and people may feel attacked.

Does it support the zap protocol natively? e.g. when you send the onchain transaction, does it also blast nostr event? Will this fail for the users that currently already have lightning address set from a provider that doesn't have solution for onchain? Oh, if you are not talking about zaps, then lightning addresses are not actually used that often in the overall lightning network. Lightning addresses are an user experience wrapper around bolt11 invoices that's convenient in some use cases, because it provides user readable & writable address (similar to how sending email is convenient and decent solution to some usecases - are you sending emails?). Is monero providing user readable & writable addresses? How does it solve this without relying on DNS & domains?
Now bolt11 invoices are supported by literally every lightning wallet. The privacy there is decent for the sender (onion routed, same as Tor), but it depends on specific node/tool/app you use. Bolt12 is generally better, but as we discussed, not all wallets support it yet. The situation has improved quite rapidly last year - I use bolt12 when it makes sense.
