Those are all interesting things to explore. I'm in the country and have my own water, but I am dependent upon the local power co-op. I can get a generator (like generac), but then I am dependent on gas supplies. I have plenty of trees but no fireplace. I haven't figured out how to overcome those obstacles or if I need to. My thesis has been that they can't take the power down and still track us. You take the power down to kill us. That seems extreme, and since it creates instability, it endangers them.

Seems like they're doing it on purpose. I have no doubt that bitcoin is going to fly. They've stacked harder than anyone and they're going to recapitalize on it and anything else they can get their hands on. The easiest way to get the rest of it from us is to let the pump happen, drop capital gains taxes on it and then try to influence where we can spend it. While they hold it tightly, we will spend it over to them unless we embrace whatever the credit system looks like next.

It's been nice being back in a bitcoin buying mode. Ongoing medical issues with my kid has slowed us down this year. You can't always time these things, but bitcoin came down and stayed down for just the right amount of time. It's been a good summer so far on the home front.
And frankly, it's a good feeling keeping my extra money out of the system and away from fiat markets.

There is no veil of forgetfulness. This is not a Biblical concept. There is only spiritual deadness caused by being cast out of Eden.
Most people don't understand what sin it. It is not a violation of a some particular spiritual law. It is wholesale rebellion against God. Every one of us has that instinct until God turns it off. We don't want him on his terms. We can't even grasp his terms in our deadness.
Fortunately, God will rescue us. That's a gift. He doesn't have to restore any of us. He can leave us in our rebellion. He chooses not to for those who he calls his people. It won't be everyone. He has picked out the ones he wants.
Nevertheless, while we rebel, we are wilfull sinners and are worthy of condemnation. Every child rebels. Every man and woman not in Christ rebels.
There is an interesting point to be made about frequency, but that's another conversation.
The important point here is that people must stop rebelling, but sadly on their own they won't. They like their rebellion and like pigs will wallow in it as the prodigal son did.
